The legend says that the citadel of the city was built of the same clay as Medina, the lake from which the clay was taken is considered sacred. Also there is the Kalta-Minar Minaret. Built in 1855. According to the plans of Muhammad Amin Khan, he was conceived as the largest in the Muslim East and wanted it to be 80 meters, but construction stopped at a height of 29 meters, due to the death of Muhammad Amin Khan.
