These lines are amazing. In the Peruvian desert, located along the Pacific coast, several dozen drawings and several hundred geometric shapes are applied to the surface. Some of these objects are over a hundred meters in size. If viewed from the air, you will find that the drawings depict stylized birds, monkeys, spiders and other animals. Some of these huge forms can also be found on the hillsides at the edge of the desert. There are also human images.
The Nazca Plateau is not exactly a desert. In fact, this incredibly long section of the earth's surface is made up of rocks and soil. The only question that arises is how the creators of the lines managed to create such geometrically perfect shapes. UFO enthusiasts argue that primitive ancient people could not have done this themselves. They allegedly needed the help of aliens and their spaceships to help them with construction.
However, it would be foolish to consider the people of that time as completely primitive. They already knew how to make incredibly complex geometric patterns. But let's, for the sake of objectivity, still discuss the version put forward by UFO enthusiasts. The most common statement is that the Nazca lines are a kind of airport for aliens. Here they can land their ship and go out to stretch their legs. Or go to a duty free shop and have a drink before the next leg of your flight. Or something like that. But if you include logic and reason, this explanation becomes completely unviable.
Let's say the alien ships need a landing site. This means that they must come into contact with the surface. Which, at least slightly, deforms the “runway” in the same way that the tires of an airplane leave black streaks on the asphalt. But there are no such traces. You might argue that alien ships could just hover without touching the ground thanks to their superior technology. The answer is: if they can do that, why do they need an airport at all?

Okay. Let's assume for now that the UFO advocates are right. And that the Nazca plateau was an ancient alien airport. Then it was supposed to be the worst airport on Earth. And yet, if aliens have nothing to do with it, why did the people of Nazca create all this? UFO enthusiasts like to ignore one very important fact: the area around the lines is a burial site. Many urns and other burial items were found here. And they depict the same animals and objects as on the Nazca plateau. Does this mean that the lines are predominantly religious? Obviously, this is more likely than attracting the attention of space aliens.
