In Georgia, six months later, they again started talking about the "ghost" that frightens the population of the village of Kumisi in the south of the country

The question of whether the "Kumis ghost" exists has been haunted by the local residents of a small village in the Gardabani region (Kvemo Kartli region) for almost a year, who claim that they have seen a strange creature more than once.

A tall, thin creature with a painted face, emitting strange sounds - this is how those who have already met the "Kumis ghost" describe it. First, it knocks on the windows to be allowed into the house, and if they do not open it, it starts breaking the window. It is not possible to catch him. It disappears. In addition to Kumisi, the ghost was seen in the neighboring villages - Koda, Borbalo, Asureti and Goubani.

For the first time, they started talking about a ghost in August 2016 and had a heated discussion for almost six months. It even received a nickname - "Rake". In other words, Bigfoot, whose existence has not been scientifically confirmed. Over time, the "kumis rail" was forgotten. But then the post of the journalist of the newspaper “Asaval Dasavali” Zaza Davitaia appeared on the social network Facebook, who claims that he had solved the secret of the “paranormal” phenomenon.

The journalist is sure that the ghost myth was created specifically to force local residents to sell their land plots to foreigners for a meager price. And in the role of a ghost, in his opinion, there were special forces in rubber spacesuits who ran through the villages and frightened the population.

However, this is not the first time this version has been heard. Even last year, when mass panic began in Kumisi, part of the population started talking about the deliberate terror of the residents.

This argument is reinforced by the fact that, according to the local population, most of the agricultural land was sold to foreigners. At the beginning of the week, local residents held a protest over the sale of about 300 hectares of land in Qumisi to an Arab investor. According to them, in this area, which they used as pasture for livestock, special posts have already been installed for the behavior of the fence.

So who scares the population of Kumisi is not yet clear. But Facebook has been actively discussing this issue for several days.

Promotional video:

The user Irma Gogshelidze claims that she herself saw a ghost and it did not look like a person.

“No one can convince me that they were special forces … These were demons who had taken over the alien and could reincarnate,” writes Irma Gogshelidze.

“Ordinary people in disguise would not be able to run. I spent 6 days and nights there. There was something else happening !!!”, - writes Lela Ninua.

One of the users claims that the ghost was seen not only in Kumisi, but also in other places.

“What nonsense are you writing. Indeed, people saw him with their own eyes not only in Bolnisi, but also in Tbilisi. He entered one of the houses and stood over his head while the people were sleeping. This is not gossip,”writes Abd Abd.

“These are all fairy tales. What lands? And here is the earth. My loved ones saw him with their own eyes. My cousin is from Kumisi, and he saw exactly the Reik,”writes ნატა არველაძე.

Despite these allegations, for another part of the social network users the version of the special forces dressed as a ghost turned out to be more acceptable.

“I thought so from the start… The Fear Factor !!!”, writes Nino Bazadze.

“Here's another staged performance and how many more lies ahead!”, Writes Besiki Adamia.

Some started joking about this.

“As it turns out, Kumis rake is a broker for the Arabs,” writes Nuka Gogebashvili.

“Logically, rake is obtained by a descendant of Arabs,” writes ანი ხოსიტაშვილი.

“Rather save those who are at the Varketili metro station! Reik showed up again at the Varketili metro station,”writes Teona Dolidze.

The “Kumis ghost” has become so popular that you can find “his” page on the social network, and even more than one, where funny photos, gifs and statuses are published.
