We managed to interview Konstantin Georgievich Korotkov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, author of more than 200 papers and 15 books translated into many languages.

Konstantin Georgievich, how did the story of Peruvian mummies begin for you?

- I got into the story of the Peruvian mummies relatively by accident. For many years we have been working with the American company Gaia to create Bio-Well devices, and several times a year I visit the United States of America. On another visit, in April 1917, after discussing business issues, the founder of the company asked: "Constantine, would you like to look at the strange mummies found in Peru?" He told an incredible story about mysterious mummies. I agreed with pleasure and after three days I flew to Lima.

What are the most vivid impressions of visiting the burial place of mummies in Peru?

- The first impression of meeting Mary's mummy was overwhelming. It became obvious that we were faced with some new phenomenon, but doubts immediately arose: how real this mummy is, is it not a fake.

One gets the impression that the research was the result of a private initiative of a group of people. Is it so?

Promotional video:

- All research on mummies was carried out on the private initiative of people from different countries. Basically, the initiative came from the Gaia company, the founder of which was interested in studying this mysterious phenomenon. Later, scientists from Russia, Mexico, Peru, France joined in, who were enthusiastic about this issue. All studies were carried out without the support of government organizations and with private funds, mainly with funds from the Gaia company.

There are opinions that mummies are a fake, assembled "from parts of different creatures." What is your opinion on this matter?

- After getting acquainted with scientific materials: the results of genetic studies, analysis of tomograms and chemical elements, there is no doubt that these are mummies of real beings. And the talk that this collection of bones of various animals is conducted by people who either did not see the reports, or do not know how to read tomograms.

It is interesting to know your opinion on the results of mummy DNA research. Are there any doubts about the complete reliability?

- DNA research of mummies was carried out in several countries: Russia, Mexico, Canada and France. All experts came to the unequivocal opinion that the discrepancy was only in the percentage of human DNA in the DNA of Mary's mummy.

Some mummies have implants. Is there an understanding of what they were used for and what materials were they made of?

- One of the mummies had a collarbone fracture, fixed with a metal implant. Based on the analysis of the density of the tomogram, it was unequivocally determined that it was a metal, but it was impossible to determine which one - gold, silver or copper.

Perhaps this is the first open study of unknown creatures that may have an alien origin. Or do you have other assumptions?

- I cannot say anything about the alien origin of these mummies. No remains of ships or traces of their landing were found, and the geoglyphs of the Nazca region are definitely not an alien cosmodrome. With a high probability, alien life is also organic, so it is impossible to distinguish them on this basis.

How plausible, in your opinion, is the version about the fact that mummies are terrestrial, but unknown to us?

- I will suggest that Mary may represent another branch of Homo Sapiens, which existed in ancient times and then disappeared.

Could it be a branch of the "reptilians" in the development of evolution? Could they survive to this day?

- The idea that small creatures are no reptilians was suggested by Peruvian researchers, and it deserves consideration. Unfortunately, we do not have the DNA of ancient reptiles, so we have nothing to compare the DNA of these mummies with.

Is it possible to clone these creatures using the materials of mummies to look at what they were like during life? Are there such projects?

- It is impossible, because the DNA is badly destroyed.

Have you had any other research in the field of the unknown?

- For many years I have been engaged in research into questions of consciousness, and part of this work was to study the work of psychics. I happened to meet and get to know many outstanding people in the world and see a lot of interesting and incomprehensible phenomena.

I am convinced that the world is not limited to the material events known to us, it is much more complicated, more interesting, and we are only now starting to scientifically study many mysterious phenomena.

Do you, as a scientist, admit that there is life beyond the Earth?

- This is no longer in doubt. Water is the second most abundant element in space, and where there is water, there is life.

Previously, the topic of the study of creatures that run counter to classical science was taboo. In this regard, your research is breakthrough for some, while for others it undermines the credibility of you personally as a scientist. How do you yourself feel about this?

- Research of truth is important for me. Science is the knowledge of the new, not the reproduction of the already known at the level of technological details. All scientists who investigated new phenomena were persecuted and ostracized. I have nothing to fear, I am quite independent in my work and I do not have to hold on to a chair at the university. Therefore, I say and publish whatever I think. The main thing is that people learn about new phenomena, so that they reflect on this topic, and only then will the evolution of mankind be possible.

Has something changed in the scientific community regarding the study of the unknown, or has a new generation of scientists emerged with broader views?

- As you know, there is a commission in our country to combat pseudoscience. Therefore, the study of new phenomena and the expression of independent views becomes more and more difficult. For many scientists, the situation is worsening, so we have fewer and fewer conferences on non-traditional research in science, and very limited opportunities for publication.

The situation in the world is different, although in any case, for professional scientists, the discovery of new phenomena threatens with great trouble. The only thing that pleases is the opportunity to openly express their views on the Internet, where they become the property of thousands of interested people.

What would you wish our readers?

- Life is an amazing adventure, it gives us many new discoveries and impressions. The main thing is not to be afraid of anything, to look at life openly, but to keep a sober head and not believe anything at first sight. Let's enjoy life, be surprised and be open to the fact that sometimes life gives us absolutely amazing gifts.
