The clearest photograph of the head of the famous monster Nessie ever was taken in Scotland last week.
Nessie lives in the large Loch Ness and for several centuries the locals saw a strange creature in the lake, which they called a water horse.
When cameras became available to ordinary people, Nessie was regularly photographed, but as a rule, all these pictures were very hazy or taken from afar.
Only one thing was clear from them - the monster had a small head on a long neck.
And last Thursday, the tourist guide Ricky Phillips managed to photograph Nessie almost closely, and especially clearly her head. As you can see in the photo below, there are growths on the monster's head, similar to those seen in the drawings of the dinosaurs. And the mouth of the creature is unexpectedly very similar to a bird's beak.
Ricky Phillips has been leading groups of tourists on Loch Ness and its environs for many years, and on that day after the excursion he sent tourists on a boat trip, and he himself went to rest on the shore. And when he went down to the water, he practically collided with a strange creature.
According to Phillips, when he saw Nessie's head with a "beak", he immediately remembered that birds descended from dinosaurs.
