1939, San Diego. A military plane with twelve passengers took off from the local airport. Half an hour later, he sent an SOS signal. An hour passed and the plane returned to the airport. All twelve passengers were dead. The pilot was still alive, but died after a few minutes.
In the course of a small investigation, it turned out that the passengers used weapons during the flight, bullet marks were found on the walls. The faces of the victims were burned. Then it was assumed that the passengers simply staged a scuffle, which ended in a shootout. Experts denied this version almost immediately. During the shootout, no burns should have appeared, and some of the participants in the scuffle would have survived. Then a new assumption appeared: the passengers on the plane were killed by unknown creatures living in the atmosphere.
First meetings
Back in 106 BC, red birds were seen in Rome. They carried burning embers, which they threw on the city. Because of this, fires began in different parts of Rome.
Similar birds have been seen in France and Portugal. It was in the Middle Ages when such things were called fire spirits. It was these "spirits of fire" that became the progenitors of the phoenix and the firebird.

Skyfish is a creature that lives in the atmosphere. They are very similar to critters, but different from them. If the critter is ethereal and intangible, then the skyfish can be caught. There are already skyfishers who are professionally engaged in catching these entities. They say that skyfish cannot live long after being caught, it quickly turns into a gel-like liquid, of which only a wet spot soon remains. It is believed that skyfish is just a kind of critters.
Both skyfish and critters are ethereal creatures. They are just a product of this substance, which was believed in even in Ancient Greece. According to esoteric teachings, it is from the ether that astral entities arise. Like critters, ether is invisible and intangible. Perhaps once people could see him and his offspring.
