The monsters of Lake Tianchi, as they have already been nicknamed by analogy with the "Loch Ness Monster", were filmed by a Chinese journalist. The journalist claims that the creatures look like seals and swim incredibly fast.

The Chinese journalist managed to make a 20-minute video depicting six unknown animals - "Tianchi monsters" floating in Lake Tianchi.

The Chinese public has already called these animals, by analogy with the "Loch Ness Monster", "Tianchi monsters."

The video was written by the director of the news center of the local TV company, created by the leadership of the Changbai Sanctuary.

“I climbed the southern slopes of the mountain with two local guides at roughly five in the morning on Thursday. I was hoping to capture the sunrise, but it was cloudy and the sunrise was not visible,”says journalist Zhuo Yongsheng.

The footage of this video has already been published on the Internet. One of them shows the "heads" of creatures swimming in parallel courses in three rows. Another shot shows two animals diving, leaving behind circular waves.

At 5.26 in the morning, Lake Tianchi, located at the foot of the mountain, became very clearly visible, he recalls. At that moment, one of the guides suddenly shouted, showing to the lake that a large stone had fallen into the water from nowhere.

Zhuo Yongsheng aimed his camera at the lake and saw first one moving large black object, and then five more objects emerging from the depths.

The journalist says that he was able to observe six creatures, something similar to seals, swimming in the lake for almost an hour and a half. “They swam as fast as boats, at times they disappeared under water. It was very impressive that sometimes they swam at the same speed, as if someone were giving them commands,”Zhuo recalls.

“Their fins, or maybe wings, were longer than their bodies,” he said.

Rumors that some unknown animals live in this lake have been circulating in the area for over a hundred years. Scientists, however, say the lake is too cold for any large creatures to live in.
