Our past is a wonderful time, there were born the legends of Popol-Vuh, the ancient Maya, whose sacred texts tell about the existence of five cosmic eras. The first four are known as Water, Air, Fire and Earth, they have been completed, the fifth age is still in motion.
Each of the cycles has witnessed the rise of human civilization for 5125 years. As a result of a new cycle, cultures disappeared at sunset and reborn to life again - this is the eternal step of Nature.
The Age of Water ended with the Ecumenical Flood, as we learn about from the biblical texts and mythology of many ancient cultures. When the era of Fire came, the world experienced crushing torrents of flame. Now we see the end of the Earth's cycle: strong earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and devastating hurricanes open the doors to the "Sixth Sun", initiating a new series in 25625 years.
This could have been fiction if modern science had not confirmed that mass extinctions happened on a cyclical basis, as they did 65 million years ago, causing the extinction of the dinosaurs. Or a very recent flood that ended the last ice age about 12 thousand years ago.
If the legends of the ancient Maya are right, then for thousands of years the Earth gives life to human civilization to a high degree of development, and then overthrows it from domination in order to repeat the cycle again, but … really everyone perishes?
Following the South American legends, an oral legend from the times of the Spanish conquest comes to us about the village of Inca, where the Ayar brothers appear. When the Flood ended and the waters returned to the ocean, from the hill that later became Cuzco, the brothers emerged from the bowels of the Earth through a cave. These were four men and four women who performed great feats.
They wore strange clothes, and even knew how to fly, shaping mountains and valleys with streams of projectiles. In their hands they carried a box containing an outlandish "talking bird". It was they who formed the tribes and gave them corn, a plant that is essential to the Indians. It was they who brought nomads to a settled life, thereby giving rise to cultural development.
If this is true, then the legend tells us: modern civilization could have received "Help" from survivors after the Flood, who owned the technologies of a highly developed civilization, but died as a result of the change in the life cycles of the Earth and the Sun.

But perhaps the clearest example will be the legend of Atlantis, which speaks of the existence of an advanced civilization that inhabited the planet before ours.
The myth of a mysterious civilization on the lost island comes from the Critias and Timaeus dialogues written by Plato. Perhaps this is just an essay about a better life under smart rulers, but there is a description of how the ancestors of the Athenians faced a mighty empire in the Atlantic Ocean, in particular, on the island at the Pillars of Hercules (Strait of Gibraltar). Major earthquakes and floods soon followed. Literally in one day and one night, Atlantis disappeared into the depths of the sea.
But what if there is documented truth in Plato's dialogues, then this means that the Egyptians had historical references in their archives, starting as early as nine thousand years before Solon's meeting with a history-knowing priest (the time of Pharaoh Amasis, eighth XXVI dynasty).
Most likely, humanity is a very young culture, so we do not know all the ancient facts. But according to Plato we see: when civilizations begin to acquire knowledge and after a certain period of time reach the heights of development, disaster overtakes them.
This forces the revived civilizations to start all over again, going from the absolute ignorance of their past. In this we see the growth and destruction of civilizations, which is inevitably cyclical.
While there are many arguments today about large-scale floods after the time of glaciers, no definitive signs of the collapse of a large island in the Atlantic Ocean have been found.
However, in 1968, zoologist Valentina Munson discovered suspicious stone formations in the waters of Bimini, which seemed to be artificially constructed walls. Later, on expeditions where a sophisticated seabed scanning system was used, blocks of 5 by 5 meters in size were found protruding 50 centimeters from the ground.
In the seventies, strange structures were found in the same place, geometric shapes, regular polygons and straight lines stretching for several kilometers. More recently, archaeologist and anthropologist William Donato said that the walls were not originally built underwater and proposed the hypothesis that an important civilization existed in the Atlantic Ocean during the Pleistocene.
So maybe Plato's Atlantis is not the myth of the ancient philosopher? In fact, a lot of ideas and speculation grew up on Atlantis. Some believe that this story was just writing, used by Plato to support his philosophy, and therefore nothing real about it.
Others see a more developed culture of a lost world, which was able to build the famous pyramids of Giza in Egypt. It is a kind of monument to the knowledge and unprecedented technological development of the island of Atlantis.
Of course, the hypothesis about the cyclical nature of the rise and fall of civilizations is a controversial point of discussion. In turn, new questions arise, how … where do these survivors live? After all, someone who helps people of a new era is being saved, why do we know nothing about them? Are they hiding?
