They said that they suddenly found themselves either riding a train, or lying somewhere in a ditch, or simply wandering aimlessly along the road. None of them could give his name, could not remember where he came from, whether he had any relatives, friends, acquaintances … No one had any documents. I washed the dishes in the kitchen, glued the boxes, put things in order in the shed, neatly planted trees - just like a German - but not a single string of his soul even hinted to him that he was the very Peter Fleck, who knows how he jumped two borders !!!
Immediately after the TV report was released, his wife and brother immediately came for him. They have not been in Russia for 9 years. “If you love me, then I will love you too,” Peter muttered in confusion, when complete strangers, crying, threw themselves on his neck.
