The other day I met a man. He came up to me and we started talking. Gradually, the conversation turned into a discussion of his problems. Like, there are a lot of bad people around, they throw, betray, and you plow like an ox.
In general, the guy is interesting. He got out of poverty, achieved everything himself, has a big business and for the first time in the past 13 years has escaped to rest. However, all his achievements pale against the background of the fact that his body is already working for wear and tear. And if this continues, then he will lose what he has accumulated.
I asked him:
- Why do you live like this? I mean, what's the purpose of all this?
- So that my loved ones have everything. We must provide for the family.
“But look at yourself. You didn't have anything and you achieved everything. Does the cloudless life of your children guarantee their success when you cannot earn money due to age or health that goes from under your feet?
He agreed with me. Indeed, sometimes it is those who started from the very bottom who achieve much more than those to whom fate gave a comfortable childhood. But then my interlocutor asked an interesting question:
- Well, how then to live differently?

There was despair in his eyes. He knows no other life than work. Work to earn the money that allows him to have the life he spends at work. How sad, don't you think?
In general, the very term "work" is very interesting in Russian. The root is the word "slave". Indeed, modern man is in bondage to his work. Moreover, we are taught from childhood that work is almost the core of all life. Just think: work to live and live to work.
I have nothing against if a person chooses his life path through a career. But don't you think that something is wrong here? That a person, a creature as mysterious as the whole world, probably was not born for the sake of work. Well, at least - not only for her sake. Don't you think that human beings are endowed with more interesting destinies?
And if so, then what exactly is this fate? Why can't we see her? I think the answer lies in civilization itself, with its values. By raising our children as the spirit of the times tells us, we teach them to see only certain things. So, for example, we teach a person to see money, to earn it, but we do not teach him to see the soul of the world. We teach how to survive with pleasure, but not how to live with happiness.
Perhaps one of you will say, they say, spirituality is all wonderful, but HOW TO LIVE? Again this question.
You know, to be honest, the idea of living in the name of leaving something behind for the children is complete nonsense. If you raise a child only as a slave to this materiality, then no matter how much you leave him, it will not bring him happiness. Moreover, many parents justify themselves in their cold attitude towards children due to the fact that they go to work so that their children have everything. Yes, children do not care about matter. They need a strong-willed father and a wise mother. This is what inheritance should be left to posterity - spirit and wisdom.
But again the question arises of how to live like this, because money is also needed? You agree with this statement, don't you? It defies doubt, right?
But have you ever thought about living without money? I'm serious. A life in which it makes no sense to carry all these pieces of paper in your pockets. Personally, I am increasingly coming to the conclusion that this is possible. Only here life will be different.
However, in order to be able to live like this, it is necessary to have some skills that are not given to us in schools. Which ones, I have not yet figured out, but one thing I know for sure - they must be looked for.
And it's not about money at all. This is just one example of slavery, which prevents a person from seeing their destiny. And the way out of this state can be only when we set ourselves the right goal.
The correct purpose of life is a life in which we are constantly developing. However, development within megacities is very narrowly specialized and forces people to develop only within this specialization. This is similar to when a wire is tied to a young tree and tilted in a certain way so that the tree grows along a given path. But the tree has its own nature. And it is possible that this nature is much richer than people's idea of a tree.
It's the same with a person. We are amazing creatures. There is so much hidden in us. So why does our life go according to the scenario, and not according to the best and, what is most funny - not invented by us? Don't you want to know your nature?
I said goodbye to my interlocutor and he left. He left to earn money. Over and over, until the spirit of his life dries up. He will die with a sense of accomplishment before children, wife, parents, country. But he will remain a debtor to his fate, since he did not know what his own nature is.
Look for yourself. Look for the right target. Without this, we are just slaves.
