We are all time travelers looking for secrets hidden in the sands …

And the story is not at all simple … It seems that many who explore deep antiquity, it is not for nothing that the question periodically arises: “What kind of a courtyard was going on here then - on our unfortunate planet ?!”. But it remains to rely on everything that we do not all know. True, the more we learn, the more riddles. So, we managed to decipher the prints and drawings made in the Sahara over 8000 years ago (the official dating of scientists) … So what? You have understood a lot - what is it and why ?!

Many drawings and handprints at the Wadi Sura II site in the western desert of Egypt were first discovered in 2002 on the rocks. As the analysis showed, they were made more than 8000 years ago.

The drawings depict wild animals, human figures, and strange headless creatures. Besides drawings, hundreds of outlines of small handprints with fingers were found. Similar prints of small hands and feet were found earlier in Australia, but this was the first time this was found in the Sahara.

The most interesting of the images of this rock art is the outlines of tiny palms located within the outlines of a larger pair of hands. After the study was carried out after the discovery, the scientists said that the prints belong to a person. And that's it! Who else ?!

However, anthropologist Emmanuel Honore of the MacDonald Institute for Archaeological Research has done additional research on the drawings and compared the ancient palms with images of the hands of human embryos at the developmental stage of 26-37 to 36-41 weeks. And it turned out: the probability that the handprints in the cave belonged to a person turned out to be as close to zero as possible.

In addition, based on the location of the tiny hands and fingers, the scientist found out that the palms themselves were flexible. And these are not drawings made with red clay, these are silhouettes. Someone put the hand of a reptile here and circled it.

Naturally, none of the scientists (and non-scientists) does not even close how and why the reptiles left their prints next to the human ones. If people themselves did it, then it is absolutely incomprehensible what meaning they put into such a message.

In this regard, one recalls legends and myths that say that at least some of the ancient "gods" who ruled over the human race were just reptiles …

At that time, the Sahara (8000 years ago and deeper in history) was a green, prosperous land and one of the "bases" of the so-called "civilization of the gods."
