Philotanus is a demon who is one of Belial's assistants, pushing a mortal to sadomy. He is extremely vicious, depraved and empty, while he is the first Esset of Hell and does not like to appear in the guise of a frightening monster - he appears in the form of a beautiful angel sitting on a fiery chariot (some argue that any mention of a fiery chariot is an indication of a UFO), says in a pleasant and courteous voice.
His ideology is that the more sexual relations, the better. It symbolizes a person "who will not miss a single skirt" or "will seduce all men." If the seduction fails, such a person can go for anything for the sake of his lust, up to rape. Inverted Philotanus indicates sexual perversion.
According to the book "Faust" of 1587, Philotanus appeared in the guise of a shaggy, coal-black bear, only his ears were erect and were like a muzzle of a fiery red color, he had white long fangs like snow, a long tail (about three elbows), and on his neck he had three open wings, he smelled of intense cold, despite the summer weather.
