Sometimes it seems that we cannot face some mythical phenomena, and all this can be scientifically substantiated. But sometimes, what is happening, we cannot explain and believe that it really happened to us.
A girl from Belarus was able to tell a story that actually happened to her. And there is no logical explanation for this. As a student, Svetlana and her friend Alla rented a two-room apartment together from an unfamiliar grandmother. Girls lived in one room, and grandmother lived in another. Granny often went to Europe to her daughter, so the girls mostly lived in the apartment alone. The grandmother did not seem strange, there was nothing special in the apartment. In general, nothing boded trouble.
Sometimes, as happens in any apartment, you hear some sounds, some rustles, and so on. Especially, no one attaches importance to such trifles. This whole story began in October 2018. The grandmother went to Europe for six months, and the apartment was at the full disposal of the girls. At first everything was calm and quiet. But one evening, at about three o'clock in the morning, one of the girls heard someone walking around the apartment and loud enough. The sound of slippers shuffling across the floor was heard closer and closer at the door to the room. Alla could not stand it, jumped out of bed and turned on the light. It all stopped. Several days passed. The girls were sitting in their room and reading their textbooks, as a crash was heard in the toilet. With fear in their hearts, they went to see what had fallen. It turns out that a mop fell, which no one had touched for a long time, and it stood so that it itself could not fall. But the girls tried not to betray this value, until the next episode occurred.
In the girls' room there was a large painting of a beautiful girl. As the grandmother said, this is a portrait of her daughter. But the girls did not really like her, since it seemed that she was constantly looking at them. And it was very annoying, every day to look at a huge portrait of a stranger, who seems to be constantly present next to you. They decided that while grandmother was away, it would be necessary to remove this picture tomorrow morning and put it behind the closet. When Alla and Sveta woke up in the morning, they saw that the picture had been removed and turned over to face the wall. The girls could not believe it for a long time, and each at first thought that one of them was playing the other. But, later it turned out that none of them was involved in the removal of the picture.
After that, they began to hear in the house, at night, constantly some kind of noise. It was as if someone was walking, then someone was sorting out forks and spoons in the kitchen, the cabinet door creaked by itself as soon as they turned off the light. They heard someone running and knocking on the toilet door, which was located at the end of the corridor, opposite the room. The girls suspected something was wrong. They noticed the interior of the apartment and it scared them. Wooden crosses hung over the door in the toilet and bath. Old candlesticks with candles, which had already been used more than once, were hung in the corridor. And in the closet they found a huge iron cross, similar to the crosses that are placed on graves. The girls became creepy, and they decided to find another apartment so as not to feel fear every time and sleep peacefully at night. But before they managed to leave the apartment,there was a final phenomenon that put everything in its place.

It was already cold December, when in the evening the girls were preparing at home for the exam. Svetlana, who was sitting closer to the half-open door of the room, felt at first a slight chill, as if someone was touching her shoulder. As soon as she raised her head towards the door, she saw behind her a transparent silhouette and the door slammed shut with a big crash and great force right in front of the girls. The apartment was empty except for them. The two of them sat on the bed. There could be no draft, as it was winter and all the windows were tightly closed. And the door itself did not close as if in a draft, as is usually the case. It was closed as if someone had closed it from the foot, with a running start. Fortunately, the girls had already found an apartment and there were two days before leaving. They were eager to get out of here as soon as possible. In the morning, the girls met their neighbor from the apartment opposite. They got into a conversation, and the neighbor told them what was really going on in their apartment.
Several years ago, this grandmother really lived in the apartment, who rented this apartment to them. But she did not live in this apartment alone. These were the times of Soviet perestroika, when people lived in apartments like in communal apartments. One room belonged to my grandmother, and in the other lived a man, a Jew by nationality. When he became old and died, he had no relatives to bury him according to all the rules. Or even at least sing a service so that his soul is calm. My grandmother buried him herself as best she could and bought out part of his living space from the state. But apparently, the soul of David, that was the name of the man, remained to live in this apartment. The tenants really didn't stay here often. And the neighbor herself admitted that she often heard a lot of strange sounds when she went to visit her grandmother in the evening. The story should have ended there. But no.
It remained to spend the night only the last night in this apartment, and tomorrow the girls had to move. At night, Sveta could not sleep for a long time. She was very much disturbed by the story of a neighbor. Towards midnight, the girl fell asleep. Sveta had a strange dream, but she did not really remember it. But the last thing she remembers is the face of an old man who laughed and flew right at her, and his soul flew into her body. Svetlana woke up from sleep with a terrible cry and tears in her eyes. A frightened Alla stood over her and shook her. She said that Sveta moaned for a long time in her sleep and she decided to wake her up. But even after the girl began to scream, Alla was not immediately able to wake her up. When she woke up, her friend saw that a lock of her hair had turned gray. They decided not to sleep until morning. And in the morning we collected all our things and left. Later,they went to church and lit a candle for the repose of David's soul. After the move, no oddities happened to them. True, now, Svetlana constantly needs to paint over her gray hair that has appeared overnight.
