The term “Inappropriate artifact” is used to refer to archaeological finds whose existence does not fit into the usual framework of traditional science.
An example of such artifacts is a find made in 1852 during mining operations in the town of Dorchester, Massachusetts, USA. Then the workers after the explosion of the rocky area discovered that the explosive water had thrown an object resembling a metal vase on the surface. The unusualness of this find lies in the fact that this artifact was located in a layer that was formed about five hundred million BC. That is, in those days when dinosaurs reigned on earth, and the existence of intelligent beings was out of the question.
This find caused heated discussions among scientists and split them into two camps. Some argued that the find made by the workers was genuine and called for an explanation of its origin, while others believed that it was nothing more than a hoax, or a creation of much later times, whose age was mistakenly dated so absurd, in their opinion, digit.
Anyway. Modern researchers quite regularly find such artifacts, which does not allow us to say that this is an accident.
