About ten years ago, at the end of summer, I went with my dog Tungus to pick mushrooms in the nearest forest, which is near the village of Siversky, Leningrad Region. The weather was clear, the sun was shining. I didn’t take a compass with me, because it’s impossible to get lost in that forest. It is surrounded on all sides by a ring road with the villages of Belo-gorka, Izora, Kurgino, Druzhnaya Gorka, Lampovo and Druzhnoselie.

After going around our mushroom spots, an hour and a half later, Tungus and I went to the field near the village of Izora. There I was heading south-east. It was natural to return, heading northwest. The dog and I went home. I remember at that moment low clouds appeared in the sky, the sun practically disappeared.

After a while, I noticed that we were walking through a completely unfamiliar forest - spruce, although we had to go through a mixed one. However, I did not have any alarm, because, as I said, getting lost there is unrealistic, you will definitely go either to the village or to the ring asphalt road. Indeed, after an hour or an hour and a half we came out to the village.

At first I did not recognize her, but then suddenly I realized that this was the village of Druzhnoselie. We just went to him from the southern side (from the side of Divenskaya). That is, we ended up behind the ring road! To get there, we had to cross the highway. But we didn't cross it!

Then I did not attach much importance to this, but now, when I remember that day, I feel uncomfortable. I conditionally called this case "curvature of space", or "wormhole of space." I've heard stories like this. Moreover, it happened that people suddenly found themselves hundreds of kilometers away, even somewhere in another area. So, I think I'm still very lucky!
