Recall that for 4 years now, signals about strange tracks have been coming from Kuzbass, and they come here in search of Yeti expeditions, hoping to find and see Bigfoot.
But while adults are calculating routes and arguing whether the Yeti really exists or not, children simply believe in them. And … they begin to meet. So, on January 21, three boys from the Kuzbass village of Russko-Ursky, rolling along a frozen river, wandered to the opposite bank and noticed unusual tracks.
And at the edge of the forest, seeing a figure rushing through the trees, similar to a man and a monkey at the same time, the boys rushed to the village. Schoolchildren filmed an unusual meeting on the phone.
- At first we decided not to tell anyone about this, we thought, but no one would believe us and people would laugh. But it was curious to know who I shot, - admitted the author of the video, 12-year-old Zhenya Anisimov.
He showed the footage to his grandparents, who told a neighbor and her grandson, a miner, Evgeny Pashkov, who had come from the city for the weekend.
Miner - forwarded the video to Moscow, Igor Burtsev, director of the International Center for Hominology. And - on the sixth grader Zhenya unexpectedly fell glory.
“We got the first in the history of Russia, quite convincing, albeit of poor quality, video footage of the Yeti,” said Igor Burtsev. - And the next study showed: yes, there is not one Yeti, there are two of them!

Trace in trail
At first, the scientists, taking up the footage with the footprints of the yeti, considered that the Bigfoot was alone, came to the river from the forest, and when he heard the laughter of children approaching from the village, he ran back to the trees - exactly in his own footsteps. That's why they seemed kind of strange - because of the focus "back and forth."
After a while, when researchers from the USA and Canada joined the Russian scientists, they all together shook that version.
- We saw on many footprints: in a large footprint or a little nearby … a footprint of a smaller size was imprinted. This is evidence that there was not one, but two yeti, large and small, and they walked - trail after trail. This was also noted by our foreign colleagues, - explains Igor Burtsev. - Apparently, the big one (I don't know who it was, mom or daddy-yeti) walked in front, paving the way for the little one, and the small one stepped in his tracks … And this probably explains the not very long stride length - 70 - 80 cm, about 2.5 times the length of a large track. In general, the big yeti took shorter steps so that it would be more convenient for the small one to follow him.
And, the final conclusion of scientists, those two Yeti actually walked along the frozen and snow-covered Ur river, always completely deserted in winter, towards the Altai highway. They would have made it along the river where they need it, without problems, without haste, even along such an almost treeless steppe near Leninsk, where they cannot hide, they cannot hide. But … they heard the voices of children leaving the outer house, which is three steps away from the river, and rushed to the forest.
Timing
While scientists were analyzing the footage of the Yeti from Kuzbass, zooming in and out, people on the Internet did not comment or ridicule it as soon as possible.
But the timing given to "Komsomolskaya Pravda" - from Igor Burtsev - explains a lot to skeptics.
- At 2 minutes 39 seconds from the beginning of the entire shooting, look, a figure appeared (at this time the camera turned off from the frost, and Zhenya turned it on again, he has a simple old phone, such shutdowns are a common thing in the cold with him), - he lists Burtsev. - After switching on, the creature was already in the frame. Until 2.51 it stands still, for 12 seconds. When looking at it, we thought at first that it was long arms hanging so low. But our American friends, watching in slow motion, suggested that most likely these are the legs of a small individual, which the large one holds in his arms! Then the big yeti turns sharply, quickly runs to the left - in two or three seconds. And here you can see that his figure is very wide. And if you allow a baby in his arms, then it becomes clear why the figure is wide … Moreover, if you remember about their tracks,two yeti … Then it all fits.
And the fact that the creature was in one place for 12 seconds, as Burtsev explained, was apparently due to the fact that the small man had some problems, they were figuring out something there, distracted and did not immediately notice the children. Then - seeing people, they rushed further into the forest.
By the way, as Igor Burtsev told, to whom all information about the Yeti from different places of Russia and different countries flocks, in the steppe near Leninsky-Kuznetsky many years ago, they also saw Bigfoot. Twice: in 1942 and in 1952, as eyewitnesses remember and cannot forget.
Hunger
The miner Yevgeny Pashkov, who linked the hominologist Igor Burtsev and the sixth grader Zhenya, of course, could not resist himself, and fulfilled the scientist's task.
- He went with the boy, at my request, along the already sprinkled, but still noticeable tracks and found that the yeti's tracks left that glade, made a circle, came back. And then the tracks led in the direction of the highway, - says Igor Burtsev.
Why did the yeti circle like that? It looks like hunger brought them back to the clearing. Because, as Evgeny Pashkov found, several trees in the clearing were gnawed at a height of 150 - 170 cm. And one was gnawed. And the bark of a neighboring tree was gnawed.
The scientists asked the miner to visit the clearing, to follow it. Plus, hang a yeti treat high up on the trees. A taiga hunter, a mink, just visited the village and strangled several chickens from one of the housewives. Here is their miner, putting them in a sack and hanging them in the clearing. The Siberian spring is still far away. And the yeti and the child, if they return, will be glad to have a treat in the hungry winter forest.
I do not believe
12-year-old Zhenya, by the way, is not happy with the fame that has come. Children and adults believe it and do not believe it. The latter are many times more. Among them are teachers from their native school, who waved their hand at the sensation and first of all reprimanded the boys … for the mate, which is a lot in the video with fright.
“I’m generally convinced that it was all a planned performance, with dressing up in a yeti,” says Irina Ustyuzhanina, head teacher of the Podgornovo school. - Yeti do not exist at all, and especially - in such a steppe area as ours.
And in the district and local administrations, they trust the boys. Because they and Zhenya Anisimov received a document from Moscow - with confirmation from scientists that the shooting and the yeti are real.
