A group of friends had fun boating in the narrow canals of the Isabella River in Puerto Rico and filming their journey on camera (see video below).
After the people with joyful shouts swam out of the narrow tunnel, something light appeared in the water next to their boat.
Over the next few seconds, the blurry silhouette began to resemble a naked man with black hair floating underwater. In doing so, he followed the boat.
The camera, which Morales Derby held in his hand, managed to capture this creature, but turned away from him at the most interesting moment, when the creature almost came close to the boat.
The creature does not look like a fish or an aquatic animal like an otter or a beaver. But it is quite similar to a mermaid, although her tail is not visible, but only her shoulders and hair are visible.
During the shooting, Moralez did not notice this creature at all, but she saw it on the recording after riding a boat and was horrified by what she saw.
In the comments, users made the assumption that it might be a drowned man. But the creature seems to be floating on its own, that is, it is alive. Others have suggested that it is the "spirit of the river" or the ghost of a drowned man.
