Frightening footage could be seen the other day in Italy, and in particular in the resort town of Pescara. Here the "heavenly abyss" literally opened up and a powerful downpour with hail, the size of a fist or an orange, fell on the residents with tourists.
Huge hailstones hit all the cars and rooftops standing on the streets, and solar panels were badly damaged.
Most of the people, fortunately, managed to find shelter in time, but the hail did overtake some. About 20 people went to hospitals, they mostly have head injuries.
In addition to Pescara, the surrounding area also suffered. In particular, in the agricultural areas of Molise and Emilia-Romagna, the hail broke the glass of greenhouses.

Most of all, vacationers on the beaches were unlucky, rain and hail found many right in the water and it was impossible to hide from it. In addition, in the Ravenna region in the sea, an additional tornado appeared.
The downpour flooded many streets, in the lowland the water reached a meter in height, and due to the flooding of the railway tracks, trains were temporarily canceled. Cars sailed along the city streets.
The worst thing was that the next day the elements did not calm down, the huge hail did not fall, but the rain continued to fall, and the squally wind fell down the age-old trees like matches. Locals claim that they have never seen anything like it here.
In many cities from Naples to Livorno, all public parks were closed and all children were removed from summer camps. As of July 13, inclement weather with strong winds and rain continues in the same areas.
