Former spouses from New Jersey are suing Saint Barnabas Medical Center for having a child from another man after in vitro fertilization.
According to the NBC New York TV channel, the girl was born in 2012 and at that moment her parents did not notice the catch.
Christina Kedderich and Drew Wasilewski began to suspect that something was wrong about two years after the child began to show typical Asian features, despite the fact that the girl's father and mother were Caucasian.
The DNA analysis performed completely ruled out the possibility that Drew Wasilewski could be the biological father of the child.
The mistake of the doctors of the reproductive clinic became the reason for the discord in the family, which subsequently led to its disintegration.
Now the ex-spouses are demanding compensation from the clinic, and in addition they want to receive a list of men who donated sperm there around that moment in order to try to find the girl's biological father, who now does not yet know about his paternity.
According to the clinic, its administration took the incident seriously and intends to investigate its circumstances.
