Three weeks by train - there is no such route anywhere else in the world. And soon it may appear. Traveling from London to New York by rail is real, Russian and British experts believe. As the newspaper "Times" writes, the other day the project was discussed at the highest level. And even, allegedly, was approved. A bold idea, by the way, was voiced four years ago in Moscow. The president of the "Interhemispheric Tunnel and Railway Group of the Bering Strait", it turns out, there is one, urged not to hesitate with a decision and rather to start building the century. However, even the kings dreamed of a connection with Alaska.

It is planned that the route will pass through the whole of Russia, dive into the Bering Strait, which is about 100-110 kilometers under water, and reach Alaska, and there it is already a stone's throw from New York. But in Russia it will be necessary to build at least another 5 thousand kilometers of railway, and there is enough work in Alaska. The approximate cost of the project is $ 99 billion.
