The scientific world is still trying to unravel one of the most mysterious mysteries of life: why does spontaneous spontaneous combustion of a person occur? Over the past 100 years, several hundred people have been burned down. Men, women, children were on fire. Thick and thin. Sick and healthy. A thermal explosion occurs, the energy of which is not released, but absorbed, creating a crematorium in the human body with a huge combustion temperature. The famous modern British physicist Stephen Hawking calculated that small "black holes" emit an enormous amount of energy.
On April 26, 1986, before the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, a glow was first observed right above the nuclear power plant, and then an underground rumble began and a seismic shake occurred. The investigation revealed a very specific rupture in the basement of the fourth power unit. And it was a mystery.
Is man a walking reactor?
SOME scientists, both Russian and foreign, believe that in human cells, especially in the structures of his brain, there are reactions that can be called "cold fusion". With their help, the body not only receives energy, but can also create for itself the necessary chemical elements that it lacks. This idea was expressed by the famous Russian academician, director of the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences V. Kaznacheev. If this is really so, then it can be assumed that, as in nuclear power plants, in the human body, under certain conditions , uncontrolled nuclear reactions can occur.

Pyrokinesis researchers are interested in two questions: why does spontaneous combustion occur and how does it happen? Probably the very first theory appeared about the ignition of combustible gases in the human body. In the USA there is even a whole "Association of Caution Breathing People". They claim that they can ignite objects with their breath. Seattle-based president Jimmy Borison has demonstrated his phenomenal abilities to a panel of distinguished physicians. Before the demonstration, the pundits forced him to undress, rinse his mouth and throat and brush his teeth so that the possibility of a hoax was completely ruled out. Borison, with his breath, set fire to the papers on the table of the scientists, and the prepared sawdust.
Biofield glitches or time confusion?
FUN is the hypothesis proposed by the Moscow parapsychologist Yuri Malyshev. He explains the fire of people by a change in the rate of oxidative processes in the human body. Sharp shifts take place in the parameters of its bioenergetic field, and oxidative processes under the influence of this field begin to proceed hundreds of times faster. The body cannot withstand such stress and burns out.
Ludwig Schumacher from the USA offered his own explanation of spontaneous combustion, linking together the human biofield and the fields external to it that exist in nature. In his opinion, the space around us is saturated with energy radiation unknown to science. When interacting with the energy of a human biofield, they can cause a kind of explosion, leading to spontaneous combustion of a living body.
The famous aircraft designer and creator of the theory of the six-dimensional universe, the Russian Italian Roberto Bartini, back in the 60s, suggested that the phenomenon of spontaneous combustion is nothing more than traces of movement in time.
Bartini's theory is in some way supported by the Japanese scientist Hirachi Ito. He believes that the cause of pyrokinesis is a change in the course of time in the human body. In its normal state, the body produces and radiates into space a certain amount of heat. If the processes occurring inside the body for any reason sharply slow down, and the speed does not change on the surface, then the released heat does not have time to go into the space surrounding the person, and it burns out.
Employees of the Cosmonaut Training Center during the rapid rotation of a medical centrifuge have repeatedly noted strange chronal changes: interruptions in the work of the clock, slowing down of the physiological reactions of the body. The subject seems to be separated from his body and begins to see himself from the side. And this effect may well manifest itself not only in laboratory but also in natural conditions. Chronic disturbances arise in the so-called anomalous zones - where there are bends in river channels, underground streams, faults.
An enemy from a flying saucer?
AMERICAN theorist Gerhard Livingston put forward the theory that the cause of spontaneous combustion is the effect of magnetic storms on a person. Researcher Vladimir Avdeevattributed the death of people from SSH to a short circuit in the biofield. The most exotic version was put forward by the Polish anomaly Krzysztof Bzowski: in his opinion, people are burned by a beam of invisible radiation emitted by hostile "flying saucers" …
However, official science flatly refuses to recognize the phenomenon of spontaneous combustion, arguing that there is not enough combustible material in a person to make the process exothermic. Indeed, the total mass of fats, carbohydrates and proteins in humans, when burned, gives less energy than is required for the evaporation of water, of which our body mainly consists.
Depression or rays?
In HIS book "Chanting Fire" researcher John HymerHaving analyzed a number of cases of spontaneous combustion, he concluded that lonely people who fall into prostration right before catching fire most often become its victims. Hymer suggested that psychosomatic disorder in people suffering from depression can lead to the release of hydrogen and oxygen from the human body and to the beginning of a chain reaction of mitochondrial microexplosions.
Another researcher, Larry Arnold, suggested that an unknown subatomic particle called a pyroton, emitted by cosmic rays, could be the cause of spontaneous combustion. This particle freely passes through the human body without causing harm (like a neutrino), but sometimes it can touch the cell nucleus and lead to a chain reaction that can destroy the human body.
Or is it a "drunken" bacteria?
FRENCH psychiatrist Jean Millon published a hypothesis about some unexplored bacteria contained in the human body. It eats up blood sugar and produces flammable volatiles similar to alcohol. According to Monsieur Millon, pyrokinesis is just the combustion of an alcoholized organism from an imperceptible, accidental spark.
There is one more theory. Along with the electric and magnetic fields, there is also a pyro field (remember how you get hot with every strong emotional excitement). Perhaps, like any other field of the earth, it sometimes indignant and gives out a powerful surge of its energy.
Girlfriend burned out - not at all from shame

The companion behind the wheel tried to extinguish it, and the car lost control. A moment later, the car crashed into a pole, and the fire that blazed on Gina went out. The pilot received severe burns, but survived.

MEDIEVAL literature meticulously recorded cases of human spontaneous combustion. During the reign of Queen Bona Sforza (15th century), the knight Polonius Vorty died in Poland in front of his parents. After two ladles of wine he was suddenly engulfed in a column of flame. In 1731, Countess Cornelia di Bandi died in the Italian city of Cassino. The servants found in her bedroom only legs, dressed in stockings, and part of a skull.
In April 1744, in Ipswich (England), the daughter of a 60-year-old alcoholic Grice Pet found her father dead on the floor of a house. According to her, "it burned out without fire, like a bundle of firewood." The old man's clothes were intact!
In Columbus, Ohio, in 1849, the owner of a liquor store, a German by nationality, caught fire and was devoured by the flame. This case was mentioned by Charles Dickens in his novel Bleak House in 1853. He described the death of a hero, an inveterate drunkard named Crook, from a spontaneous combustion. After the release of the novel, the English philosopher and critic George Henry Lewis said that this was impossible and accused Dickens of ignorance. SSH worried not only Charles Dickens, but also many other famous writers of the 19th century. Heartbreaking scenes of spontaneous combustion have found their way into the novels of Washington Irving (The Story of New York), Mark Twain (Life on the Mississippi), Herman Melville (Redburn), Honore de Balzac (Cousin Pons), Emile Zola ("Dr. Pascal"). In the AUTUMN 1924, the OGPU investigated a series of strange incidents in Moscow, united in the "Case of the Self-Injured." Three cases of spontaneous combustion of people were recorded in the city. One - in the "New Proletarian Theater of the Moon", located on Polyanka in the building of the former church. During the rehearsal, the actor caught fire and died. During the investigation in the theater, they found incomprehensible objects resembling attributes for some kind of ritual. The Chekists were told: this is a props. But there was also something that is difficult to call a prop: a map of the western hemisphere of the earth with incomprehensible markings - the moon in the crescent phase, the full moon, some kind of icons. Some of the badges were from Soviet Russia. Gorki near Moscow was also marked - the place where Lenin lived until recently. Because of this card, the Lubyanka became interested in “self-ignorant”: is it not a spy plot? Can,is this a scheme of a conspiratorial organization?
The "case of self-ignorant" was supervised by the head of the OGPU Special Department, Gleb Bokiy. He was interested in unexplained phenomena. Bokiy considered them worthy of special study.
In 1924, he turned to another prominent Chekist, Jacob Peters, for advice: they say there were two similar cases in England in 1909? (Peters lived in England in pre-revolutionary emigration.) He answered: I remember the hype, but it didn't bother me much.
In 1937 Peters was arrested. One of the charges was obstruction of the exposure of the "spy organization" - the investigator showed him the very same card from the "New Theater of the Moon". Peters replied: it was composed by some "crazy spirit." "Spirit," Peters recalled, said something about "will energy" which had left Lenin and now must be taken by "another person." Some "keepers", having enclosed Lenin's "will energy" in themselves, as in "capsules", had to transfer it to each other until the "other person" - a new dictator - showed up. After the transfer, the empty "capsule" was allegedly burned up. Peters thought it was nonsense.

ONE of the most recent cases of STS in Russia occurred in Tomilino near Moscow (April 2004) with 25-year-old Vladimir Yakovlev. He accompanied his girlfriend. Saying goodbye to his beloved, the young man got into the elevator. And it began to burn. At the moment when the doors opened, and people were crowding on the first floor, Yakovlev was rapidly melting. The body of the young man burned with an invisible fire, and the clothes remained intact. Yakovlev was taken to the Ukhtomsky hospital, and then to the Vishnevsky. A few days later, the young man died. His legs suffered the most. In the hospital, he could not utter a word. I did not answer questions.
