Many people think that the out-of-body experience of “clinical death” can only be obtained in a hospital bed, or, for example, having been in some kind of accident or disaster. However, this sometimes happens with athletes, especially from “contact” sports, for example, related to martial arts.
This is exactly the case that happened once during a tough sparring with a hand-to-hand fighting master, president of the Russian Varangian society, author of the theory of natural psychology, Alexander Belov, in the distant 1990s.
And this is how he describes the then experienced out-of-body experience in his book "The Last Secret of Varangian Rus":
As you can see, such an experience has a discouraging effect on a psychologist who has too much faith in the dogmas of classical science. On the one hand, official science says that all this is supposedly impossible, and on the other, there is a personal practical experience of such states of consciousness “outside the body”, which directly testifies to the erroneousness of the dogmas adopted in classical science. How to be in this case? Of course, if practice refutes the theory, then the theory needs to be changed, and not to defend it to the last hoarseness (as is done by the “fight against pseudoscience”), ignoring the large amount of evidence of the manifestation of this phenomenon. Only through practical research and experiments, and not with the help of sweeping unfounded denial, real science can reveal the secret of mysterious phenomena,whose very existence contradicts its outdated dogmas and the paradigm hopelessly lagging behind its time.
