There are several stone blocks with the name Horse-stone in Russia. The most famous are the boulders of the same name on Ladoga and in the Tula land, which have gone down in history since pagan times. Each of them has outstanding dimensions and memorable outlines. If the artifact on the island of Konevets is a single rock, then the gigantic figure on the Beautiful Sword River is a real not-made sculptural group of several elements.
Tula Horse-stone should be sought in the vicinity of the village of Koz'e, Efremovskiy district. An interesting statue has a 20-ton "body" up to five meters in circumference, which rests on three "legs" of smaller boulders. From a distance, one side of the megalith really resembles a horse's head, attracting the attention of passers-by since ancient times. Stories about the unique Stone Horse appear in ancient charters since 1499.
Both archaeologists and mystics are attracted by the groove made on top of the body of the Tula Horse-stone. The triangular depression clearly points in a southeast direction, and may have been used by pagans in certain rites.
