In 1944, the news spread around the world about the discovery of a mysterious bell that fell from a piece of coal. That day, little Newten Anderson was tasked with putting coal in the stove.
The boy missed one of the pieces, as a result of which it fell apart, and an ancient bell appeared to the light. Young Anderson showed the find to his parents, and then information about the bell quickly scattered.
After 6 years, the bell was handed over to the University of Oklahoma for more detailed research. Scientists were able to establish the approximate age of the coal seams from which this find fell.
It was about 300 million years old. The composition of the bell was also analyzed, but several elements were found in it, which at that time could not be identified. As a result, it was not possible to establish the full composition of the artifact.
Newten Anderson later devoted a lot of time to studying his find, but he could not get much information. But he managed to find one interesting detail. The figurine of the creature on the handle strongly resembles a character from the mythology of the Sumerian civilization.
I forgot to add that the age of the bell most likely coincides with the age of the coal seams in which it was found. All this is explained by the fact that only at the moment of formation of these layers, an object can get into them in this way.
You can still throw an unknown amount of time before the formation of layers, because it could have been created long before their formation. The existence of the bell can also be explained by the incorrect modern method of dating the formation of coal seams.
