The smallest foal in the world at the end of June this year appeared in the Leningrad region at the Hidalgo pony farm, which is located in the village of Skotnoye - Agalatovskoe rural settlement. The baby got a very funny name - Gulliver.
Gulliver is half the size of all other pony foals. This is a unique case for the whole world, because such tiny horses have never appeared in America, Europe and Asia, because the foal of the Hidalgo farm is the size of a cat, and this unique dwarf has no physical deviations or flaws. Here is what Elena Chistyakova, director of the pony farm, tells about this:
Dwarf foals are sometimes born to ponies, for example, in the United States, they even specially cultivated super-small horses. Unfortunately, however, they all ended up with physical defects. And our Gulliver is unique in this respect: he is super small, and without any physical or mental disabilities. He is very smart, courageous and at the same time so tame - just a darling. We use our little horses for therapeutic benefits for sick children. Ponies undergo special medical training, and then we go with them to children's hospitals and rehabilitation centers, to orphanages and boarding schools, and, you know, this helps children a lot, because it gives them a boost of energy and joy and gives them a piece of real happiness. Let's clarify that Gulliver is 30 centimeters tall at the withers, and weighs only 3 kilograms. Moreover, his parents are the most normal ponies. Such a fantastic incident at the Hidalgo pony farm happened for the first time in twelve years of its existence.
Gulliver himself, one might say, has already become a media person, he takes part in photo shoots with pleasure, not at all afraid of cameras and flash lamps. The farm employees hope that their unique foal will definitely get into the famous Guinness Book of Records.
