According to the chronology of the ancient Egyptian historian and priest Manetho, the pharaonic dynasties were preceded by four other dynasties - two gods, one demigods, and one transitional dynasty. At first, seven great gods ruled Egypt - a total of 12,300 years: Ptah, Ra, Shu, Geb, Osiris, Set, Horus. The second dynasty of gods consisted of twelve divine rulers, the first of whom was the god Thoth; they ruled for 1570 years (8620-7050 BC).
Tradition says that Thoth - Atlas possessed a secret teaching, the legacy of the civilization of the lost Atlantis and was the builder of the Great Pyramid in Giza. In it, he integrated his knowledge of ancient wisdom and hid the chronicles of the ancient Atlanteans. He was the ruler of many Atlantean colonies, including the colonies of South and Central America.
He was a "scribe of the Gods" - an intermediary between Gods and people. According to Egyptian mythology, Thoth was revered as the God of wisdom, counting and writing, the patron saint of sciences, scribes, sacred books, the creator of the calendar. According to the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, Thoth discovered numbers, geometry, astronomy and letters for the Egyptians.
According to legend, Thoth - Hermes was the author of 36 thousand books on magic, astrology, alchemy and medicine, the most important of which is the famous "Emerald Tablet". As the legends tell, “all the wisdom of the Universe” fit on a small plate of emerald.
Legend has it that the "Emerald Tablet" was found in the 4th century BC by Alexander the Great in the tomb of Hermes, buried by the Egyptian priests in the Great Pyramid of Giza.
The "Tablets" were left by Hermes Trismegistus on an emerald plate. According to legend, by this time the text of the Tablets had existed for many thousands of years.
