Some have already called this video (see the video below) the best video of a ghost in many years, while others call it a frank montage, pointing to the "computer" movement of the object.
The author of the video, Rob Wakefield, filmed it near the town of Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex (England) and believes that this is the very ghost about which many local legends have been composed.
One of these legends Rob heard in one of the city pubs. He was told that a few decades ago, late at night, an unknown young man decided to take a shortcut and went straight through the bushes.
Unfortunately, the guy probably forgot that there was a railway line, and when he suddenly found himself on the rails, he was immediately hit by a passing train. The frightened train driver reported a run over a man, but when the police examined the scene, they found nothing there.
According to one of the versions, the body of the unfortunate man was thrown into the river flowing nearby and his remains are still somewhere there, not mourned or buried by anyone. Therefore, it is not surprising that soon a wandering ghost was regularly noticed in this place.
The railway runs along the embankment, below which the river flows, and between the embankment and the river there are bushes and a narrow path along which the locals walk into the forest.
The ghost is almost transparent and only the head and partially the shoulders are visible. To see it in all its glory, the video must be made in full screen and in HD quality. It is in this mode that you can see that instead of a head, the ghost has an eerie naked skull with eye sockets.
