For the past six years, the largest fragment of the Chelyabinsk meteorite lies quietly in the Historical Museum in a place of honor. Is that a little thinner to half a ton, but covered with rust. As soon as scientists have not subjected him to analyzes, there has been no sensation since the day of his fall.
- An ordinary piece of stone only from space. There is nothing to write about him, - such words were dismissed by the Ural astrophysicists in recent years.
But the Chelyabinsk meteorite exploded again. On Saturday, December 14, at the height of the day, the hall was not crowded. Several ordinary tourists wandered through the hall of "Nature and Ancient History", where the cosmic body lies. The exhibit has already been examined and passed to the mighty mammoths and woolly rhinos. Suddenly a frightened guard ran into the hall. It turned out that the dome soared 10 cm above the meteorite and froze.
- They called the administrator on duty and the electrician. The dome was first raised to a maximum height of 20-25 cm, and then lowered into place, the museum said.
KP-Chelyabinsk collected three versions, which is why the glass above the main exhibit of the museum could suddenly rise.

The dome of the meteorite is leaky - after all, from time to time inside you need to check the humidity, the state of the celestial body, and possibly take samples. It is held by three hydraulic complexes - in other words, electric gates. They are controlled by a remote control. The signal is triggered from a distance of at least one meter to the sensor and at a certain angle. You need to hit directly into the sensor.

- The last time the pagans came in the summer. They arranged dancing, rubbing against the dome. The day before the incident, a strange group bought tickets. Usually dressed, but exclusively came to see the meteorite. Although we have a lot of interesting things (it takes about three hours to see all the exhibitions - ed.). We looked at the meteorite for a long time, whispered among ourselves, then got dressed and left. Maybe they conjured something up? They honestly say that this story made a good advertisement for the museum, but we are afraid that not people who are keen on science, but all sorts of mystics will come,”a museum employee told KP-Chelyabinsk, asking not to indicate his name.
