The location of the ancient cities "handed over" … nuclear
The Bible twice indicates that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorr by "fire and brimstone" was not a natural disaster, but a pre-planned event that could be delayed and even canceled: in one case Abraham persuaded God not to destroy the righteous along with the unrighteous, and in the other his nephew Lot achieved a postponement of the destruction of cities. Some really managed to leave the doomed cities. To be fair, the main “sin” of their inhabitants was that they were geographically close to the Sinai center of the “gods”, which was targeted by a targeted air strike …
"And Abraham got up early in the morning … and looked to Sodom and Gomorrah and to all the area around him and saw: behold, smoke is rising from the earth like smoke from a furnace."
Space images of the Sinai Peninsula show a huge depression and a crack at the site of the nuclear explosion. The ground here is still littered with cracked, burnt and blackened stones (Fig. 35), in which an unusually high content of the isotope uranium-235 was found, which, according to experts, indicates a sudden strong heating caused by a nuclear explosion.
The destruction of cities in the Dead Sea plain led to the sinking of the southern coast, causing water to rush into the fertile valley to the south, and this part of the sea is today separated from the rest by a ledge called el-Lisap ("tongue"). Attempts by Israeli archaeologists to explore the seabed have revealed mysterious underwater ruins, but the Kingdom of Jordan, on whose territory the ruins are located, forbade further work.
Interestingly, the relevant Mesopotamian texts confirm topographic changes and even suggest that the sea became "dead" as a result of nuclear bombardment. They say that Erra (the "god" of thunder and war, who pressed the "nuclear button") "furrowed the sea, violated its integrity. Everything that dwelt in him, even crocodiles, he killed."
The blow was struck directly in the "place where the gods descend and ascend" - the Sinai flight center, in the depths of the Sinai Peninsula. A detailed description of the consequences has also been preserved: "they (the" gods "who struck a blow - approx.) Poured bright rays on all four sides of the earth, burning everything like a flame. Following this, a storm instantly arose, "a hurricane born by a flash of lightning." Then in the sky a "thick cloud that covered the entire sky with darkness" - a nuclear "mushroom" - and "a gust of wind rose … a storm violently tearing the sky."

The destruction was not limited to Sodom and Gomorrha, the radioactive cloud rushed to Sumer and caused the famous "Sumerian lamentation". The consequences were dire!
One of the factual evidence is the work of an international team of seven scientists from different specialties entitled "Climate Change and the Fall of the Akkadian Empire", published in the journal Geology. In their studies, the authors used the results of a radiological and chemical analysis of dust layers of that period, samples of which were taken from various parts of the Gulf of Oman bottom.
They concluded that unusual climatic changes in the regions adjacent to the Dead Sea caused dust storms and that dust - an unusual "atmospheric mineral dust" - was carried by prevailing winds through southern Mesopotamia all the way to the Persian Gulf, which exactly coincides with the route of the Sumerian "Evil Wind"!
