Russia is now on the verge of grandiose events that will change the world and bring great glory to our state, - this is confirmed in their prophecies by Nostradamus and other famous predictors of all times and peoples
Nostradamus has several quatrains that describe the war in South Ossetia and the events accompanying it with surprising accuracy.
“When the Sun will be eclipsed then
In broad daylight a monster will be seen:
Everyone will interpret it differently, The high cost is not saved:
nobody will be ready."
The tragic events in South Ossetia began on the day of a total solar eclipse that covered 13 (damn dozen!) Time zones. Observing him, scientists saw a truly "monster": at maximum activity, the crown looked like a shaggy man made of rays, and at a minimum of activity it looked like a mustachioed man. Scientists could not explain this miracle. This phenomenon, like the events in South Ossetia, received the most controversial assessment in the world (“everyone interpreted differently”) and was accompanied by a drop in oil prices, the ruble exchange rate and stock indexes (“high prices were not preserved”). Further, in Nostradamus we read:

The deadly destroyer will destroy the old city.
He will see his Romance in great sorrow
And he will not be able to extinguish the great flame."
Tskhinvali, destroyed by order of Saakashvili ("deadly destroyer"), is a very old city (the first written mention of it dates back to 1398, but there are versions that it was founded in the 3rd century AD. The glories are more than a transparent allusion to Russia Most likely, in this case, “own Romania” means a country following a pro-Western course, which Georgia is now.
Then Nostradamus writes:
At the Euxine Pontus and the great Tartary
A king will appear who will visit Gaul, Alania and Armenia will be transferred
And in Byzantium he will leave a bloody rod."
Euxine Pontus - Black Sea. Tartaria is a significant part of Asia, including some territories of Russia. Byzantium is the territory of modern Turkey. Alania is one of the names of Ossetia. Nostradamus called the whole Caucasus and Transcaucasia Armenia. The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces and President of the Russian Federation D. Medvedev, however, has not yet been in Gaul (France). However, the first Western leader to congratulate Medvedev on his victory in the presidential election and to convey to him an invitation to visit France (it was accepted with gratitude) was French President N. Sarkozy, who then personally took an active part in the South Ossetian events. It is also possible that in Turkey they attributed the prophecy of Nostradamus to their own account, and therefore, not wishing to visit the king with a bloody rod, for a long time they did not let the ships of their allies - the United States and NATO - enter the Black Sea. After all, Nostradamus promises the Slavs great luck in the war in the mountains and in general in amphibious operations:
“The Slavic people, thanks to military luck, Will rise to a very high level.
Will replace the sovereign. A provincial will be born.
The army will pass the sea and rise to the mountains."
The change of the sovereign and the birth of a "provincial" has not yet happened, but perhaps this will happen: the media are already writing a lot about the imminent replacement of President Saakashvili by the Americans with a more moderate politician and sending him from the capital of Georgia to one of the US provinces.
