Late Saturday night, strange lights appeared in the sky over the northwestern suburb of Kursk. At first there were 3 orange dots, then four. “It was unlikely that it was an airplane, we did not hear any noise,” say eyewitnesses who rushed to shoot the UFO on mobile phone video cameras
According to some, the lights moved in a strange trajectory, constantly changing location. Others argue that the luminous points belonged to one object, were static and formed geometric shapes - either a triangle or a rhombus.
Kursk regional historian Yuri Ozerov also filmed a strange phenomenon. “I went out into the courtyard and accidentally noticed 4 orange objects in the dark sky, and immediately rushed for the camera,” he says. - The glowing dots floated silently towards the northwest from the south. An airplane cannot fly like that. It was cloudy that evening, so the version that these are stars has disappeared. I noticed that the lights were changing places, they were constantly in motion."
It is not the first time that Ozerov has observed mysterious phenomena in the sky. “This happens quite often over Kursk,” he explains. - About 10 years ago I saw 5 glowing balls at once hovering over the city. When celebrating the anniversary of Seraphim of Sarov, I also saw the appearance of a disk in the sky. Late at night, a silvery object flew in a strange trajectory over the city center."
Indeed, the appearance of unidentified objects in the sky over Kursk occurs with enviable regularity. For example, in April 2002, at about 8 pm, a resident of the Northwestern neighborhood noticed an unusual white crescent-shaped object in the sky. Behind him was a train of golden particles. According to an eyewitness, the object gained altitude and at some point disappeared from the field of view.
In 2005, a luminous spot was observed in the Volokno microdistrict. “The object silently moved in short jerks - constantly in different directions,” witnesses said at the time. - It was a metal ball, "flattened" at the top and bottom. The upper part was covered with plates, giving the impression that they were stacked "overlapping", like tiles on a roof. " Literally a month later, another unidentified flying object attracted the attention of the Kurds. This time the residents of 1st Officer Street witnessed the anomaly. According to them, a red ball floated across the sky, framed in a luminous rectangle. The "construction" moved quickly, sometimes in jerks.
In the summer of 2006, another resident of Kursk believed in the existence of a UFO. The woman decided to spend the night at a dacha in the village of Duhovets. “Closer to midnight I went out into the street, there was not a single star, everything was in the clouds,” recalled the kuryanka. - And suddenly it suddenly became light: an object appeared in the sky, resembling a barrel. It shone with a white-pink light, and a ray came out of it."
