A 25-year study examined the correlation between predictive dreams and the actual dying person seen in the dream.

While there has never been any conclusive evidence that our dreams are capable of predicting future events, there are some who remain adamant that this idea does make sense.

One notable case, back in 1975, involved a woman who woke up from a terrible nightmare in which she saw herself dying while trying to save her daughter from the train tracks. Just two weeks later, both women were killed by train under exactly the same circumstances.

Could this have been just a coincidence or was there something else?

Dr. Andrew Puckett is a dream researcher who, skeptical of such claims, has done his own extensive research, recording his own dreams for 25 years in an attempt to prove that foresight dreams are just randomness and selective memory.

In 2015, he analyzed his dream records, first looking for any dreams related to the death of people he knew but which he had seen before that person's actual death.

As a result, he received twelve names, which he then compared with all his dreams.

His searches revealed that for these twelve people, his dreams of their death were experienced much closer to the time of their death than his dreams, which were not related to their death.

While this in itself is not so important (especially considering that there was often a gap of up to six years between such dreams and the death of a person), in one particular case he found that he dreamed of a person's death on the same day he actually died.

He even woke up that morning and told his wife that he was sure of this man's death.

Maybe this is just a coincidence, or did he actually foresee death in his sleep? Given the current state of affairs in research in this area of human consciousness, science cannot unequivocally answer this question.
