This find is so fantastic that official science completely refuses to recognize it. Because, having agreed that in the center of Europe there are ancient pyramids similar to the Egyptian ones, we will have to conclude that the history of our planet was not at all the same as it is written in the history books.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state in which there has never been peace. The Balkans constantly passed from hand to hand, the interests of different empires converged here, and bloody wars were constantly going on. Perhaps that is why the local sights have been studied too little.
But, oddly enough, it was the fighting that helped make a sensational discovery here. In 1994, in the city of Visoko, which is located near Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there were fierce fighting between Serbs and Bosnian Muslims. And during the shelling, the locals heard a strange rumble that was heard from Mount Visočica. The mountain resonated as if it were completely empty inside.

This mountain, 213 meters high, has long been surrounded by a halo of legends and amazed the locals with its absolutely correct geometric pyramidal shape.
And the mysterious hum confirmed that Visochitsa is a very difficult place. In addition, residents of Visoko and the surrounding area constantly found beautiful stones with mysterious patterns near the mountain (and, of course, dragged them to their homes, so there are probably many amazing artifacts in the gardens and houses around the mountain).

When the war ended, the country put itself in order for a long time, and everyone was not up to the mountain and its hum. But in 2005, a writer and researcher from Sarajevo, Semir Osmanagich, who heard about the mysterious Mount Visočice, found himself in these places. Osmanagich devoted his life to the study of the pyramids, and he did it in South America. And then it turned out that there is a mountain in the shape of a pyramid very close, and even hollow!
Osmanagich and several volunteers began excavating Visočica and soon found out that under the 1.5 meter layer of earth, on which trees and shrubs grow, there are huge stone blocks closely connected to each other.
Moreover, the excavations were carried out at different points of the mountain, and everywhere a stone foundation appeared under the soil layer. In addition, aerial photographs showed that the sides of the mountain are perfectly straight and form 90-degree angles.
Osmanagich announced that the mountain is a real pyramid and gave it the name Pyramid of the Sun - because it is very similar to the pyramid of the same name in Teotihuacan, Mexico. (Let me remind you that I told you that the area around this pyramid looks like an airfield).

In addition, the researcher estimated the age of the pyramid in Visoko at 10-12 thousand years, based on soil analysis - in his opinion, it is for so many years that the soil layer in the local climate reaches a one and a half meter layer, as in Visočice.

After some time, Osmanagich decided to inspect the surrounding hills, the shape of which aroused suspicion that even there were human hands. Indeed, excavations have shown that these hills are also made of stone blocks.

It is interesting that on the plateau around the pyramids there are evenly laid stone slabs, just like in the Mexican Teotihuacan. In addition, it turned out that next to the pyramids there are stone tunnels with a height of human height, and the entrances to the tunnels are located several kilometers before the pyramids. When approaching the pyramids, these tunnels become more "well-groomed" - smooth and with masonry underfoot.
Also in the valley of the pyramids, several huge stone balls were found, which are another mystery of our planet. Such balls are found in some countries - in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and even in Russia, and no one knows who created them and what they were used for.

Science skeptics
Of course, these unusual finds excited many people. The tiny town of Visoko has become a place of pilgrimage for thousands of explorers and has become a popular tourist destination because everyone is interested in seeing "Mexico in Europe".
Numerous tourists and lovers of alternative history are convinced that the mountains in Visoko are precisely the ancient pyramids. However, the scientific world met this find with hostility. Many scientists, who themselves were not in Visoko and did not study the pyramids, began to claim that all these are natural formations.
As the verdict of skeptics says: "from the point of view of geology, the so-called" pyramid of the sun and pyramid of the moon "are in fact natural formations and there are no traces of human activity associated with their construction."
It is curious that the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina at one time allocated money and resources to research the pyramids. But after the media ridiculed this find and called it a pseudoscientific sensation, the program for the study of these interesting geographical objects was curtailed.
Now all research is carried out through voluntary donations and with the help of volunteers.
I must say that due to the thickness of the soil, work on the study of the mysterious mountain is going with great difficulty. Excavations require the removal of tons of land, and besides, they also have to cut and clear the forest - and all this on a mountain with a steep slope. It is also impossible to use construction equipment on the mountain, which, moreover, can still destroy ancient blocks and possible artifacts. For this reason, all work is done manually. But there are plenty of people willing to do this work - the number of those who believe that these mountains are really man-made pyramids is much higher than the skeptics from science.
It is interesting that many scientists told the author of this article that in fact they believe in the pyramids in Bosnia and in many alternative theories, but they cannot voice this in the scientific world - for fear of being the object of ridicule and difficulties in a scientific career … And this is very sad, because by the 21st century, a huge amount of facts have accumulated, proving that the history of our planet is very different from that which is considered official. And rejecting these facts, science may find itself in a ridiculous position - because more and more people understand that it is the "alternatives" who are right.
Latitudes of wonders
There is one more very curious moment. Recently, the so-called ley-line theory has appeared. These are conditional lines that connect the most mysterious structures of the planet and sacred places: ancient monuments, megaliths, mounds, pyramids, temples, etc. Geometric shapes of different scales are formed from ley lines, which together form a single network. There is a version that the ley-lines on which the ancient structures are located correspond to the lines of force of the energy field of the globe. By the way, it is curious that, focusing on the ley lines, one can find such structures and places that have not yet been discovered.

So, the Bosnian pyramids are located at 43 degrees north latitude. And it is on this ley line (in the range from 42 to 44 degrees) that many mysterious structures are located, including the pyramids. For example, dolmens of Japan and Korea, megaliths of the mysterious Pidan Mountain in the Russian Far East. In addition, at the same latitude there are the Issyk and Turgen burial mounds in Kazakhstan, dolmens near Tuapse in the Caucasus, the Cestius pyramid in Rome, the Atztalan park pyramid and even the alleged pyramids of Crimea and France.

And all this, perhaps, was left by some developed civilization, which settled on our planet in a completely different way from us - and therefore we cannot solve its secrets …
