Many exciting stories are told about this amazing yeti creature. More often than others, foresters, hunters, and also tourists who have entered the possession of the Bigfoot encounter him. The young forester Pyotr Goryunov could boast that he did not just meet with the yeti, but also treated him to dinner.

Meetings with Bigfoot are dangerous

It happened a long time ago, shortly after the Great Patriotic War, when Goryunov was sent to the Urals by distribution. Before the war, Peter entered the institute, since 1942. fought and reached Berlin. Returning from the front, he finished his studies and, at the age of twenty-seven, ended up in the Urals as a forester.

It was here that Goryunov met a mysterious creature, which the local residents - Mansi - call the word "menk". Menka is considered a spirit of the forest and a werewolf. According to legends, these creatures are divided into two types. Some - they are called "ucchi" - dangerous and evil, they can kidnap children and women, and even be cannibals. Others, on the contrary, do not show aggression and avoid meeting with a person. It is quite possible that evil ucci are males, and peaceful creatures are females, who have cubs somewhere nearby, and therefore they quickly leave, protecting the offspring. All mens are completely covered with wool.

Local residents told the new forester about the danger that lies in wait for him in the forest. To be afraid, they said, one should not only be afraid of bears, wolves and frost, but also the insidious ucci. Peter only laughed in response to this.

But then one winter he gathered in a remote corner of the forest, which the local residents considered very dangerous and did not go there. Peter learned about this from an old Mansi hunter, whose brother did not return from this place last year. “You shouldn't worry,” the forester replied to the old hunter. - I have a gun, and I'm not afraid of anyone, I went through what kind of war, the Nazis were much more terrible than your mythical Mansi.

Dinner in the taiga with a yeti

On the third day of the journey, Peter felt an invisible and unpleasant presence. Sometimes it just got creepy. Peter explained his condition by fatigue and forced loneliness. He had a third night in the taiga, after which he could turn back. Dawn Goryunov shot a hare and was going to cook a wonderful supper, and in the evening he made a fire and began to fry hare. Soon a delicious aroma came from the fire. And suddenly the forester heard a loud crackling of branches …

His gun remained in the tent, but there was a knife on his belt, and on the right was an ax, with which Peter was chopping wood. Listening to strange sounds, the man reassured himself that there was nothing to be afraid of: bears were sleeping in winter, wolves, even very hungry, would not come to the fire. And he did not hear their howling …

Despite this, the tension grew. Peter internally prepared for everything, but what he saw plunged him into shock. A man of enormous height emerged from the forest, dressed, as it seemed to the forester at first, in a strange shaggy fur coat. Then Peter realized that it was actually a thick, shaggy coat. The stranger was two and a half meters tall. The face, flattened like a monkey, had small nose and eyes. Peter also noted strongly protruding jaws and a tapered (cone up) head shape …

Goryunov was not so scared even at the front. Groping for the ax, he squeezed it until it hurt and crunched in his fingers. But suddenly, as if someone silently ordered Peter: no need for weapons, drop the ax. And the fear immediately passed, the forester smiled at his guest and drove the ax into the tree. By the way, the next morning he barely pulled it out, so deep the blade went into the barrel. And this was also strange, since Goryunov never possessed excessive strength.

The shaggy man sat down by the fire and began tossing the branches the forester had stored into the fire. He did it as if copying the movements of a person.

Peter never had a chance to try hare that evening. It all went to an uninvited guest, who handled the meat surprisingly quickly. Goryunov silently watched his feast and listened to how huge jaws worked …

After finishing the hare, the menk threw out a few bones, and then threw a huge log into the fire. After that he got up and, turning his back to the forester, walked slowly away …

It took at least half an hour before Peter managed to shake off his torpor and move. When he woke up, he rushed to the tent to check the gun - it turned out to be loaded.

The man did not go to bed that night. Until the morning he sat by the fire, clutching a gun in his hands. And in the morning he examined the footprints left by the night guest, who walked barefoot. Goryunov stood with his foot (in a forty-second felt boots) in one such track and realized that the foot of the Bigfoot was one and a half times larger …

Upon returning home, Peter suddenly and severely fell ill. For about a week he lay with a high temperature in his hut, although before that he was in excellent health - even during the war years he was not sick with anything. Rising to his feet, he walked away from a night meeting with a powerful forest creature for another month and never again laughed at the "superstitions" of the taiga aborigines …
