Since those ancient times, when the first Egyptian pyramids on Earth were erected, mankind has been lost in conjecture about the purpose of these magnificent architectural structures. After all, if you believe the generally accepted hypothesis that the pyramids serve as the tombs of the pharaohs, then why the largest pyramids that are located near Cairo on the Giza plateau have empty sarcophagi without mummies?
