However, there are also interesting moments, for example, well-preserved daggers next to the body of a young man. So, for a start, a digression into history. Tutankhamun died as a result of unexplained circumstances at the age of 19, and he ruled from about 1332 to 1323. But iron was made much later, around the 1200s. Scientists asked the question - how did iron turn out to be in the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh, if they only began to make it a hundred years later?
At the same time, archaeologist Mark Altahuel claims that the daggers are made of very high quality. Such high professionalism in forging will be available to people only in a few centuries. Also remember that the tomb was not opened and robbed. Archaeologists, having examined the daggers, found that no one could do such a thing at that time. In addition, the alloy itself is of extraterrestrial origin - it had a high content of nickel and cobalt, which prevented them from rusting. However, this is not surprising, because the first attempts to work with iron were precisely the processing of meteorite iron.
However, scientists have carefully studied the meteorites that fell on the territory of Ancient Egypt and did not find anything similar in their composition. Thus, it was never possible to establish where the daggers made of cosmic iron came from in the tomb of Tutankhamun.
