Video: Why Climate Change Will Make Russia a Superpower Again 2024, May

Scientists continue to argue: is global warming awaiting us or the world is on the verge of another ice age? And what if the inhabited territories suddenly turn into a scorched or icy desert?

“The ice age is inevitable, but in a few thousand years,” says Vladimir Polevanov, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. “Then huge ice caps will grow in the polar latitudes. When they - which is also inevitable - begin to melt, a huge mass of water will "pour out" from the glacial lakes and flood Eurasia as well. This will be the next Flood, the water level in the world's oceans will rise by several tens of meters overnight”.

However, according to the scientist, local, but dramatic climate changes may occur in the next few years for a completely different reason: because of the stopping of the warm Atlantic current of the Gulf Stream. Today it "heats" the home of the "golden billion" of the world's population - North America and Europe.

Christ in the bosom

The colder and denser Labrador Current dives under the warmer and lighter Gulf Stream, emerges off the coast of Spain under the name of the Canary Current (those who have been to the Canaries know that it is unexpectedly cold there for these latitudes). There it turns to the West, crosses the Atlantic, heats up, turns into the Gulf Stream and rushes to the North. The capacity of the Gulf Stream is 50 million cubic meters of warm water per second, one million nuclear power plants that heat the USA, Canada and Western Europe completely free of charge. The average temperature for Finnish Helsinki is almost 7 ° C, and in Yakutsk, located at the same latitude, it is -10 ° C. In Berlin, the average annual temperature is + 10 ° C, and in Novosibirsk, equal to it in latitude, it is about zero. A favorable warm climate saves the West trillions of dollars on infrastructure, building materials, fuel, allows you to collect huge yields.

And it all depends on the density of the Labrador Current, which today is only a tenth of a percent higher than the density of the Gulf Stream! As soon as their density is equal, the Labrador Current will block the path of the Gulf Stream to the north. The fact that the process will be extremely abrupt is confirmed by the data on previous cold snaps obtained when drilling ice in Greenland. The air temperature in Europe will become Siberian in several years.

The stove mechanism has already begun to malfunction. The litmus test that accelerated and made it possible to discern this already launched and unforgiving process was the accident on the BP oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010. Millions of liters of specialty chemicals to combat oil spills have been added to the billion liters of crude oil spilled into the ocean. Satellite data then showed: the Gulf Stream began to "disintegrate" even off the coast of North America. The result was an abnormally hot summer of 2010 in Russia, droughts and floods in different parts of Europe, massive floods in China, Pakistan and other Asian countries. An abnormally hot summer was replaced by an unusually cold winter: in Germany there was a stable snow cover for two months, severe cold covered England, etc. Last winter, ice appeared on the canals of Venice.

Controlled chaos?

The real state of affairs is still not known to so many people, the data are hushed up. But let's look at the actions of the world's elites - the people who make decisions. Allegedly because of the "showdown" between Ukraine, Russia and the European Union, the inadmissibility of Europe's gas dependence on Russia, the construction of several new gas pipelines began at once: Nabucco, South Stream, Nord Stream, etc. At current temperatures and fuel consumption in Europe, some of them are simply not needed.

Moreover, the same Nabucco can only be filled with Iranian gas. In this regard, the forecast for Iran is disappointing: the West will seek the victory of "democracy" and guarantees of gas supplies there. If necessary, then with the help of "peacekeeping" carpet bombing. Exactly the same thing happened last year with Libya, another uncontrolled owner of huge reserves of raw materials. Muammar Gaddafi, it seems, did not realize: for the West, seemingly chaotic interference in the internal affairs of the countries of the Greater Middle East is not a whim, but a matter of life and death. By the way, today the supply of energy resources from Libya is under the reliable watch of transnational energy companies.

Where there is no oil, there is another important reason for transferring these countries under the external control of "civilized" states. Yields on both sides of the Atlantic will soon begin to fall catastrophically - from 80-60 centners of grain per hectare to 10-15 centners. The US and the European Union will have to buy it instead of selling it, as it is now. Western moneybags are already buying up fertile lands where they can. Where China was ahead of them, for example in Sudan, civil wars and revolutions also "unexpectedly" start. One should not think that Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Bahrain, Yemen flared up because their inhabitants suddenly decided to live in a new way, in a democratic way. The struggle is even going on for areas of barren deserts - after all, after the "shutdown" of the Gulf Stream, for example, huge areas of North Africa will be suitable for agriculture.

And what about Russia? We benefit from climate change. With the stop of the Gulf Stream, it will become colder in the Northwest, but most of the central and southern regions, including Siberia, will be more suitable for agriculture. Our energy resources will become even more in demand. However, the question remains: who will by that time control the fertile lands and deposits? Are you ready to tolerate Russia as an independent supplier? And if we are not ready, will we be able to resist the Western moneybags and "peace lovers" from NATO?
