The Pentagon announced that the US military has been hunting for unidentified flying objects for several decades. And they even showed the results of this hunt - a video in which an F-18 fighter was chasing some UFO-announced lights for several seconds. The desire of the generals of the US Department of Defense to boast of an extremely dubious video is understandable: the pursuit of space aliens brings the intelligence services and the military of the whole world a lot of money.

The recognition of the Pentagon did not happen just like that, but after a scandal that was staged in the media by a pensioner Luis Elizondo, a former civilian official of the Pentagon who for several years ran the AATIP (Aerospace Threat Identification Expanded Program) program. In October of this year, Elizondo wrote an angry letter to Defense Secretary James Mattis, in which he attacked President Donald Trump, saying that Republican Washington ignores the "alien threat to the country's security", while agents of the "green men" continue to infiltrate us from the depths of space. ". The reason for Mr. Elizondo's concern is understandable - it was at this time that possible cuts in the Pentagon's budget were being discussed.

Well, Mattis ignored the letter, and then Elizondo resigned. But in the end, he decided to slam the door loudly and removed the secrecy label from some documents from the AATIP archive - in particular, from a video recorded by a camera in the cockpit of an F-18 fighter that was chasing aliens. This video was sold by an enterprising pensioner to the scientific organization To The Stars Academy (TTSA), which was founded in October of this year by the guitarist of the American rock band Blink-182 Tom DeLonge, who was keen on the idea of finding extraterrestrial civilizations.

Luis Elizondo.

Luis Elizondo also released some interesting financial information. It turned out that in 2007 alone, within the framework of the Expanded Aerospace Threat Identification Program, the US Department of Defense allocated several hundred million dollars to contractors. More than $ 22 million went to a small private company Bigelow Aerospace, whose founder Robert Bigelow is a staunch supporter of the theory of regular alien visits to Earth. This program was lobbied by Bigelow's friends from the US Senate, who, presumably, got the lion's share of this money.

Of course, a number of skeptics have already expressed doubts about the authenticity of the recording, but, you see, for that kind of money, you can persuade the US Air Force pilots to portray a chase after a drone on their fighters, so that then a viral video with "proof" of the existence of space guests would appear in all American online media … However, UFOs have been and will be searched for. And not only in the USA. Life remembered who and when found the aliens.

USSR: "stone from Orion" and masons in the NKVD

In Russia, they first encountered a UFO back in the middle of the 17th century - in August 1668, the monks of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, who were fishing on Robozero, observed the maneuvers of a luminous ball about 40 yards in diameter. Since then the disgraced Patriarch Nikon was held in the monastery, the monastery brethren were obliged to report to Moscow about all suspicious and strange events. Therefore, the executive monks wrote a detailed report on the UFO flight, preserved in the archives of the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The monks interpreted the UFO phenomenon as a divine miracle - in fact, after that all the strange flights of fireballs in Russia were classified according to the category of "miracles".

However, at the beginning of the twentieth century, such a simple explanation has already ceased to suit progressive humanity, which hastened to abolish both the concept of "divine miracle" and God himself. Rejecting the biblical concept of the creation of the world and man, scientists put forward a theory of the origin of people from aliens. Say, the Martians flew in and took us all out of the test tube. Moreover, it was space aliens who taught our ancestors various useful things - from making a fire to carpentry.

And if so, the Bolsheviks decided that it would be necessary to once again contact the Martians and demand the sharing of advanced technologies.

The solution of this task was entrusted by the party leadership to the military organ of the proletarian dictatorship - the Cheka-OGPU. Rather, the commissioner of state security of the third rank Gleb Bokiy, head of the special department of the State Department of State Security of the NKVD of the USSR.

The special department began as a cipher bureau - the fact is that after coming to power, the Bolsheviks were faced with the fact that the tsarist officers transferred all Russian codes and ciphers to the Entente allies. And in 1921, Lenin himself instructed Comrade Bokiy to create new Soviet codes.

Bokiy's father - Ivan Dmitrievich - was a famous chemist, the author of the textbook "Foundations of Chemistry", according to which more than one generation of high school students studied. All the children of Bokiy Sr. followed in the footsteps of their father, the older brother and sister were already working as teachers when the younger Gleb became a student at the Mining Institute. In his second year, Gleb Bokiy became a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Struggle for the Liberation of the Working Class, then joined the Bolshevik Party, was even exiled to Siberia for preparing a demonstration.

In October 1917, he became one of the leaders of the October coup. Then he was deputy chairman of the Petrograd Cheka, during the Civil War he fought in the Urals and in Turkestan.

Bokiy completed his new task ahead of schedule - he not only created new Soviet ciphers, but also organized a cryptographic service for breaking foreign ciphers.

Further, he organized in the special department a department for the training of radio intelligence officers, a laboratory for forgery of any documents, a research institute for the identification of toxic substances. There were also divisions in the structure of the special department, information about which was considered especially secret. In particular, it was a group for working with secret societies of occultists - firstly, Gleb Ivanovich decided to find out whether any mystics and masons were dangerous for the Soviet regime, and secondly, he hoped to find in occult research some promising developments that could would be used for the benefit of the proletarian revolution. In particular, it was about the creation of a kind of "psychotronic weapon". It was for this that Bokiy organized the first expedition of the special department in the early 1920s - to the center of the Kola Peninsula. Purpose: study of mass hypnosis, "polar

In the winter of 1924, Gleb Bokiy recruited the mystic scientist Alexander Barchenko, a famous freemason and founder of the United Labor Brotherhood lodge, to work for the special department. Barchenko brought metaphysical and theosophical theories into Bokii's life, according to which some knowledge of ancient people was preserved in Tibet, who allegedly received it from the hands of the alien creators themselves, who were millions of years ahead of us in development. And if so, then it is in Tibet that you can find instructions on where to look for aliens.

However, the head of the foreign department of the OGPU Meer Trilisser, who was extremely jealous of the special department, which was allocated huge amounts of money, became aware of Bokii's plans. Trilisser convinces Dzerzhinsky to entrust the Tibetan mission to his man - Nicholas Roerich. Dzerzhinsky agrees, but as a "trailer" from the special department to the expedition they connect Iron Felix's favorite, agent Yakov Blumkin. The materials of this expedition are still classified.

Then Bokiy and Barchenko organize an expedition to the Crimea. The goal is to search for entrances to ancient cities abandoned by civilization, excavations of Scythian Naples and Mangup-Kale. Two years later, an expedition to Altai follows, where the Chekists officially - for the first time in Soviet history! - they are observing some unidentified flying objects (or rather, then scientists had not yet invented the term UFO, in scientific use there was the term “unidentified atmospheric phenomenon”). Then Barchenko returns to the Kola Peninsula, from where he brings a certain "stone from Orion", providing contact with space.

Bokiy and Barchenko were arrested in 1937 - it is possible that at the suggestion of Trilisser, who was extremely jealous of the special department. After 6 days of interrogation, Bokiy signed his own confession that all occult research, including the search for "aliens", was a kind of scam to steal budget money that was spent on insane drinking bouts and unbridled orgies at Bokiy's dacha. After that, Bokiy was shot, and Barchenko was executed only a year later, after he left a detailed description of the work done by the special department. Of the 189 employees of the "cipher" department by the beginning of the war, no more than fifty people remained alive.

More ufology - at least at the official level - was not practiced in the USSR. Moreover, the very existence of the newcomers was declared a harmful bourgeois invention that distracted the masses from the class struggle - this is how the article "The Myth of Flying Saucers" by Academician Lev Artsimovich, published in 1961 in the Pravda newspaper, read. After that, all the circles of amateur ufologists in the USSR were quickly closed, and psychiatrists and secret people from the KGB and the Ministry of Defense were engaged in contacts with space aliens until perestroika.

Germany: Third Reich and two skulls of "aliens"

They were especially interested in the works of Soviet security officers from the special department in Nazi Germany, where the scientific society Ahnenerbe had been operating since the beginning of the 30s - that is, in translation from German "Heritage of the Ancestors" (or rather, the full name of this organization sounds like this: "German Society for the Study of Ancient German history and heritage of ancestors ").

Since the middle of the 19th century, numerous mystics - "Germanicists" were convinced that all the ancient Aryans are descendants of the ancient Atlanteans - that is, the descendants of the inhabitants of the mighty Atlantis who survived after the universal cataclysm, who conquered not only the entire planet, but also the near space. For which they were destroyed in a war with other aliens. Evidence of this, of course, was not, but mystically-minded scientists continued to dig - and literally hoping during archaeological excavations of ancient settlements to find, if not a whole Atlantean spaceship, then at least some valuable indications of where to look for prehistoric cosmodromes.

One of these romantics was Professor Hermann Wirth, who became famous for publicly announcing that he had allegedly read the runic letters of the Chronicle of Ur-Linda, which tells the story of one family of Dutch peasants - through all generations, starting from the Stone Age (now this the book is recognized as a fake). Also, Professor Wirth wrote the book "The Sacred Proto-language of Humanity" and organized the exhibition "The Blessed Bearer", the main exhibit of which was himself: dressed in some ritual clothes, Professor Wirth demonstrated to the public the "Siegfried" rituals of paganism that were "revealed to him". One of the guests of the exhibition was Heinrich Himmler, the future chief of the SS, who decided to put "Aryan science" at the service of the Reich. It was Himmler who invited Virt to head the new scientific society "Ahnenerbe".

However, the first experience of the society was unsuccessful. The fact is that the Fuhrer, who was rather suspicious of such historical "research", in September 1936 at a party congress in Nuremberg criticized Himmler himself and his protégé:

- We have nothing in common with those elements who perceive National Socialism only in terms of medieval heresies and ancient sagas, with those who hide behind vague "Nordic" phraseology and base their research on the theory of the mythical culture of Atlantis. National Socialism decisively dissociates itself from this "science"!

But Himmler, who in June of the same year became the head of the entire German police force, managed to wriggle out: he expelled Professor Wirth and all his supporters and himself began to lead the "Ahnenerbe", which he turned into a kind of Nazi analogue of the Academy of Sciences. Soon, over 50 "research" institutes were operating under the society, which developed all scientific directions. For example, the Institute of Astronomy was opened near Munich, next to it there were institutes for biology and mineralogy. All studies were aimed at the development of the German way of life: for example, the department of German architecture studied the structure of the villages of the ancient Germans, and the results were transferred to the Institute of Agriculture, where exemplary settlements were designed on their basis for the colonization of the "eastern territories". The topography and landscape department explained, how to choose the best places for colonies, the department of biology figured out which plants were best grown there, and the department of history of law carefully studied ancient German laws and customs, right up to judicial fights, so that the SS colonists could use the wisdom of the ancients.

A special place in the "Ahnenerbe" was occupied by the Institute for Scientific Research of Targeted Military Significance (INITsVZ), where they studied mysterious paranormal phenomena and designed new types of weapons - according to the descriptions of the weapons of the ancient Atlanteans. For example, following the model and likeness of the thunder hammer of the Scandinavian god Thor, German engineers tried to design an electric cannon that collects lightning energy. Other INITsVZ employees hunted for alien technology. The find made in 2015 in the mountains of Adygea best speaks of the methods of this work. In the chest with the Ahnenerbe symbols were kept two skulls of “aliens”, which really make a strong impression on the inexperienced viewer with their “alien” appearance. However, as established by zoologists, the skulls actually belong to large bovids, representatives of the order of the pair-toed,who lived in the Caucasus. Apparently, the alien skulls were needed by German charlatans to knock out new funds for the search for Shambhala and alien technologies.

How many millions of Reichsmarks these businessmen were wasting is probably known only to the devil. It is known that SS Hauptsturmführer Sigmund Ruscher, who oversaw medical research, was arrested for gigantic waste. By order of Himmler, he was executed in 1944 in the same Dachau camp where he tortured prisoners. But all the secrets of the "Ahnenerbe" accounting department were taken to the grave by Himmler himself.

It is only known that during the war, this "Nazi Academy of Sciences" took away almost the entire budget intended to fund scientific research in the Reich. Also for "Ahnenerbe" a personal fund of Himmler was created, where all German corporations voluntarily and forcibly made donations. Finally, all the profits from the sale of confiscated Jewish property went to the scientific community - or rather, to Himmler's pocket.

USA: Flying Disc Squadron

The official ufology appeared in the United States exactly 70 years ago - after June 24, 1947, a pilot and businessman from Idaho, Kenneth Arnold, piloting his small plane, told the dispatcher that he was accompanied by nine "flying saucers" that flew in formation at a speed of about 1200 miles per hour. Arnold's report was accompanied by eyewitness observations, including reports from air traffic controllers.

Although aliens have been a favorite of science fiction heroes since H. G. Wells, no one expected them to arrive so soon. Panic was also fueled by journalists who published fictional stories about aggressive aliens abducting Americans for scientific experiments and creepy experiments. Reports of encounters with unknown discplanes flooded the press, and soon the entire nation, including the American military, was in awe of them. Soon after, General Twining, the chief of logistics for the United States Air Force, presented a report to his superiors regarding the so-called flying discs, in which he indicated that "the phenomenon really exists" and that "the flight characteristics of objects … suggest that they are controlled manually, automatically or remotely. ". True, then the military thought that the mysterious discs were not of alien origin, but they arrive from behind the iron curtain.

As a result, in January 1948, the US Air Force launched the Znak project. A group of specialists locked themselves in at Wright-Paterson military base and began to study the numerous reports of disc flights. The project was led by Captain Edward Ruppelt, a retired combat pilot who had never led research projects. Captain Ruppelt launched a vigorous activity to collect new evidence of the flight of discs and even introduced the abbreviation UFO (UFO). However, he could not understand what the authorities want from him, who started all this fuss with mythical "plates". As a result, the commission's report stated that no flying saucers were being built in the USSR, and all cases of contact with UFOs were explained either by natural reasons or by the imagination of the contactees themselves.

In 1949 the project was canceled, but two years later it was revived under the name "Blue Book". From now on, the duties of military pilots of the Air Force, CIA and FBI agents included careful documentation of all episodes, one way or another connected with the activities of the aliens.

Not so long ago, 12,618 reports from the "Blue Book" concerning UFO sightings in the 1940s and 1950s were declassified and caused a lot of despondency: no new data was contained there. According to the US Air Force, most of the observations have nothing to do with alien civilizations and are explained by the tests of rocket technology or natural phenomena in the Earth's atmosphere. Of course, most of all journalists and curious people were interested in the FBI report on the incident in the town of Roswell, where an alien aircraft crash allegedly occurred in the summer of 1947. However, as it turned out, this is not a report from the crash site, but a retelling of a conversation between one of the FBI agents and a certain US Air Force investigator, who reported to him about a conversation with a local resident who allegedly saw a UFO and aliens in it. Also, the CIA report of 1952 also mentions the Roswell incident, in which the department's leadership calls thousands of reports about UFOs and flying saucers as fictions and fakes.

Image
Image

Interestingly, until 1977, no one remembered the UFO crash in Roswell at all. The reason for the appearance of the myth of the UFO accident was the publication of the memoirs of a certain retired Major Jesse Marcel, who allegedly served at an airbase in Area 51, where the fragments of a flying saucer and the corpses of aliens are supposedly hidden. Even more noise was caused by the publication of a video of an autopsy of an alien creature. Later it turned out that the film was fabricated by film producer Ray Santilli, who made a fortune on replicating these shots - the royalties paid for a copy of the film by the world's leading television channels amounted to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In the conspiracy theory and the agreement between the political and military leadership of the United States, the public believed almost unconditionally. Exactly until the moment when the sculptor John Humphrey gave an interview to journalists, who admitted that the “alien” is nothing more than a stuffed animal stuffed with animal meat, created by him in a few days from scrap materials.

By the way, Area 51 really exists - this is a testing ground where the latest aircraft used by the Air Force and the CIA for reconnaissance of positional areas over the territory of the USSR were tested - the Lockheed U-2 high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird ultra-high-speed aircraft and the first tactical unobtrusive strike aircraft F-117 Nighthawk.

In addition to American UFOs, the archives of the Blue Book contain reports by the American military about some UFOs seen in eastern Germany, over Spain and over uranium mines in the Belgian Congo.

The Blue Book project continues today as the AATIP (Aerospace Threat Identification Advanced Program).

UK: UFO in Randlesham Forest

Following the example of the Americans, the British also declassified their archives, having opened a special department at the British Ministry of Defense since 1950 to study eyewitness reports about UFOs. In 2009, the department was closed - due to "the complete uselessness of the collected information to maintain the security of the country." The Ministry of Defense urged everyone to be convinced of the fairness of this verdict. Having published several thousand reports of the military and police about the flying saucers seen by the British and about the meetings of the country's citizens with aliens, which cover the period from 1987 to 1993.

Of course, most of all the British were interested in the reports of the Randlesham Incident - a series of unexplained fires and alleged UFO landings in Randlesham Forest, Suffolk County, which occurred in late December 1980 near an American Air Force base. The newspapers wrote that dozens of base employees allegedly witnessed the planting of strange triangular objects, after which strange traces were allegedly found in the forest. However, nothing interesting was found in the documents in the case: several letters with explanations from the Ministry of Defense why the incident was not seriously investigated - in short, the military was convinced that the whole story with the incident was nothing more than a hoax of local residents.

X-Files with a French accent

Opened their ufological archives and the French, who have joined in the hunt for aliens only since 1977, when the so-called Geipan project (Groupement pour l'Etude et l'Information sur les Phenomenes Aerospatiaux Non identifies) began work in Paris - Group of study and information on unidentified aerospace phenomena.

But the amount of data collected by the French is impressive - 100 thousand pages of reports, 1200 episodes, more than 500 varieties of UFOs. However, there are no sensations in the spirit of the X-Files series either: the lion's share of the archive is occupied by messages about the observation of some glowing balls or points in the night sky.

Image
Image

There are also frankly anecdotal cases. For example, in November 1979, the police were informed about the abduction of a certain Parisian by aliens - three witnesses saw how at five in the morning their friend drove up to a low-flying UFO and disappeared. However, two weeks later, abducted by aliens unexpectedly showed up at the doorstep of his own home. The blood test of the citizen showed an increased alcohol content, and the witnesses confessed that they had invented the whole story with the UFO in order to shield a spree friend from his wife.

In December 1981, dozens of Parisians called the police, reporting the flights of a strange white UFO, which turned out to be … a roll of toilet paper that fell from the window of a skyscraper.

Finally, the scrupulous French also recorded the testimonies of airport dispatchers and civil aviation pilots who saw the first flights of experimental American drones.

Still, do they exist?

Finally, the only international organization for the search for extraterrestrial civilizations, SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), has also published its archives.

True, SETI specialists cannot boast of any discoveries so far, except for one case. As all scientists are sure, on August 15, 1977, the Big Ear radio telescope of Ohio State University in the USA, which scanned the universe, caught the first and so far the only radio signal that could be an extraterrestrial message to humanity. It was recorded by radio astronomer Jerry Ehman, who studied the printout of radio noise, among which he discovered a narrowly directed signal with a wavelength of 21 cm and a frequency of about 1420 MHz - this is a radio line of neutral hydrogen radiation, a universal physical constant of the Universe. Scientists believed that it was just such a signal that alien colleagues from the depths of space should have sent them. Out of his overwhelming feelings, Dr. Ehman wrote "Wow!" In the margin of the printout. Under this name "Wow-signal" and entered the history of the exploration of the Universe.

Image
Image

Jerry Ehman also calculated that this signal came from the region of the star Chi1 in the constellation Sagittarius. Now it is already known that this is not a simple star, but a binary star system located 252 light years from us. These stars are very powerful, and their luminosity is 42.9 times that of the Sun. True, so far astronomers have not been able to detect any planets in this star system, but the primitive technology of 1977 did not allow them to more accurately calculate the signal source.

And, although since then the "Wow Signal" has not been repeated, scientists all over the world are intensely listening to this region of space: what if our brothers in mind want to check once again whether they are alone in the Universe?
