For those who are fond of alternative history, believe in paleocontact and flying saucers, the sudden departure of Andrei Sklyarov, Yuri Smirnov, Vadim Chernobrov was a huge loss. These researchers died for various reasons, but no one lived to be sixty: Sklyarov was 55 years old, Smirnov and Chernobrov were 52 years old.
In July 2018, Scottish ufologist and conspiracy theorist George Graham died of cardiac arrest. He is known for looking for artifacts and anomalies in photographs of the Moon and Mars, and was convinced that governments were hiding the presence of aliens on Earth. It is known that Graham did not suffer from heart disease, and after his death, many videos disappeared from his YouTube channel.
Morris Jessup, an American astronomer and best-selling extraterrestrial author, had committed suicide a few years earlier. During the walk, Professor James Edward MacDonald, who was studying unidentified aerospace objects, shot himself.
In 2001, UFO scientist William Milton Cooper, who accused the US government of concealing the truth about UFOs, was shot dead by police in his own home.

Of this series, only the death of Yuri Smirnov can be called inexplicable, mainly because the year of his death was predicted by a famous woman - a psychic.
In fact, it is impossible to say with certainty whether the early departure of the followers of alternative sciences is associated with the intervention of external forces, or is it a consequence of their mental disposition and way of life.
The question remains open. Undoubtedly, one thing - there are many mysterious, unexplored phenomena in the world. And the path of the pioneers on the way to comprehending the mysteries of the universe is difficult.
