A resident of the village of Melbourne, located in the east of England in Cambridgeshire, 62-year-old Andrew Ward, filmed incredible paranormal activity in his home. At first, he hadn't expected to face some kind of devilry.

The man only decided to put a camera in one of the rooms of his cottage, located on the second floor, in order to capture the joker who, he thought, was opening the window. As a result, the Briton became the owner of truly unique personnel. An eerie video shows how, in the middle of the night, a metal retainer on a window lifts on its own, tilts to the side, and a moment later, a heavy-framed window opens without anyone's help.

Andrew's friends, having looked at the recording, cannot understand in any way how he can sleep peacefully in his house, and even advise him to put a crucifix on the window. However, the cottage, built almost four centuries ago, has long earned a bad reputation in the village, and Andrew even recalls several strange incidents from the life of its former residents.

“We live next to an old church, and there is a rather eerie presence throughout this area,” says Ward. “We have owned the house since the 1980s and we had several tenants who were never able to live in it.”

According to Andrew, his brother, who had been at the cottage for a while, saw moving objects and heard footsteps "climbing" the stairs, and while sleeping, someone pushed him in the chest. In addition, the cat that lived with his brother never went up to the second floor of the house.

However, Mr. Ward does not consider the above phenomena to be dangerous. The only thing that annoys him is the window that opens at night, which makes the house cold. “If in four hundred years the ghost has not killed anyone, then I have nothing to fear. Maybe I will even establish contact with this creature, and we will become friends,”the Briton concludes his story.
