The other day on the banks of the River Mersey (flows into the Irish Sea) in Liverpool, the remains of a sea creature, similar in appearance to a dolphin, were found. The experts, however, were unable to identify the species of the animal.

According to those who investigated the remains of people, it can be either a porpoise (cetacean) or any dolphin, it is difficult to say in more detail, since the remains are highly decomposed.

The riddles are added by the absence of teeth in the mouth of the animal, except for one - the only protruding canine, and also it is not clear where the eyes are.

The remains were found by 28-year-old Sean Hall, who was walking on the beach. At first he thought it was a dead seal, but then he realized that it was something completely different and could be, according to his assumption, a prehistoric monster. The carcass was slimy to the touch and the man did not find where its eye sockets were located.

Sean showed the photos and videos to many experts for the identification of the carcass, but no one has yet provided an exact answer. Whether they examined the remains themselves is not specified.

This is the second time in the past 7 months that strange remains have been found on the banks of the Mersey River. Last fall, what looked like a piece of flesh with black bristles was found there.

The dimensions of the creature were not indicated in the media, but according to the assumption of one of the Internet users, it could be the so-called sea mouse (Aphrodita aculeata) - a polychaete worm.
