On April 12, 2019, on the southern side of Qinghai Lake, to the great amazement of local residents and tourists, a mysterious figure appeared, resembling the well-known "crop circles":
Qinghai is the second largest drainless mountain salt lake in Central Asia after Lake Issyk-Kul. The lake is located in Qinghai province in the west of the PRC. The length of the lake is about 105 km, width is up to 65 km, area is about 4200 km², the greatest known depth is 38 m. The lake is located at an altitude of 3205 m above sea level and occupies the central part of the Kukunor Plain, therefore its second name is Kukunor.
The mysterious figure has a size of about 100 meters in diameter and no jokers can make such a picture on ice without a helicopter. However, aviation in this high-mountainous region was not noticed and no one has any idea what caused the appearance of this strange sign, attributing everything to the tricks of the “Martians”. But what the “Martians” wanted to convey with this sign for everyone is a mystery.
