The Perm anomalous zone is also called the M-zone, or the Molebsky triangle. It became popular in 1989, when the Riga newspaper "Soviet Youth" published a series of publications by journalist Pavel Mukhortov about mysterious phenomena in the region of the Ural village of Molebka.

Land of wonders and mysteries

Molebka is a village located in the Kishert district of the Perm region, on the banks of the Sylva river. Archaeological finds indicate that people lived in the Sylva valley 20 thousand years ago. Researchers found stone pyramids in the depths of the taiga. There is a version that they radiate into space. Perhaps in ancient times they served as beacons for alien spaceships, according to ufologists.

UFOs are quite frequent guests in these places. Visitors to the zone have repeatedly said that they were "pursued" by a bright object that looked like a star, or large balls, as it were, made of silvery fog.

Unidentified objects of other shapes were also observed - in the form of classic "plates", multi-colored spheres, cigars, dumbbells … Moreover, many noted their "reasonable" behavior: sometimes they line up in regular geometric "patterns", move after people or, on the contrary, disappear when their approach …

One of the most "anomalous" places in the Molebsky Triangle is the Central Polyana. According to eyewitnesses, in addition to star-shaped objects, bright light columns are observed here, as well as curtains, as if woven from intersecting strips of fog. There are stories about the appearance of huge black creatures in the clearing.

Another "anomalous" point is Vyselki. This place is a clearing, in the middle of which there used to be a ruined forester's hut. UFOs allegedly often land here, as well as fabulous creatures - gnomes and elves. They say that the ghost of the deceased forester used to live in the hut, but in 1994 the locals took it apart for firewood. Nevertheless, biolocation constantly detects the presence of some kind of radiation here. And in the Vyselok area, mechanical and electronic devices stop working, and people often experience irrational anxiety and fear …

Several years ago, the famous ufologist Nikolai Subbotin discovered a plot in Vyselki where strange, undersized trees of regular geometric shapes grew. The leaves looked unusually bright on them. With the light hand of the researcher, this place was called the grove of the druids.

In the area of the Mukhortovsky obstruction, a greenish phosphorescent square was allegedly repeatedly observed on the ground, along which men and women of gigantic stature walked.

Around the funnel, which is one and a half meters deep and about six meters in diameter, there are tree trunks that seem to be carefully cut. For some reason, the leaves do not fade on them … It is interesting that when they try to photograph this picture, there is always a light on the frames, as if from the sun, even in cloudy weather.

There is a place called Witch's Rings by the river. They say that at night mysterious lights are seen here, which, in front of observers, line up in a lattice of five vertical and horizontal stripes. Photos taken from a certain angle often show dark balls with white spots in the center - hence the name.

Anomalous zone or tourist attraction?

Many attempts were made to "debunk" the anomalous glory of the Molebka. So, some of the phenomena were tried to be explained by magnetic radiation coming from the abandoned Demidov mines located in this area. But the staff of Perm State University, who conducted research here in the summer of 1992, did not record any magnetic anomalies. Soil samples in this area showed nothing special either. However, a slightly increased background radiation was detected, which scientists attributed to the presence of heavy hydrocarbons in the soil. As for the stone pyramids, they are just heaps of slag, skeptics said. It is known that once upon a time there was a copper smelter in these parts …

However, a number of phenomena are still difficult to explain in a rational way. Therefore, there are constant discussions: is there something unusual in the Moleben Triangle, or was it simply “promoted” by journalists and experts on the unknown?

By the way, today the Perm anomalous zone has become a center of ufological tourism. At the 99th kilometer of the Perm-Yekaterinburg highway, a road sign with the image of a flying saucer was installed. At the entrance to the village of Molebka, a monument to aliens by Viktor Sazanov was erected, and in the village of Ust-Kishert - an art object "Cosmolet" by Pavel Platonov.
