The labyrinth is located almost within the boundaries of Murmansk. Just three hundred meters from the Kola highway, in the hills, on a rocky plateau between five seids.
These are also called "Babylon". The largest number of labyrinths is concentrated in the North of Russia and in Scandinavia.
However, labyrinths in various variations, including images, petroglyphs, etc., are present all over the world.
There are several theories about the origin of the Babylon labyrinths. One of them - they served as dams for fishing during low tides. In another way, the Kola labyrinths served either for the establishment of pagan rituals, or for fortune-telling. These were a kind of predictive megaliths.
Hundreds of stones, nine turns, first the labyrinth takes you to the center of the circle, then takes you back.
