On March 19, Michelle Richan drove her car from Eureka, Nevada to Heber City, Utah and went missing.

Was she found only seven days later by a fluke. As it turned out, Michelle was driving along a deserted rural road and her car at some point was tightly stuck in the snow.

She did not have her phone with her, and the nearest settlement was at least 90 miles away. Therefore, Michelle decided to stay in her car, hoping that they would start looking for her and find her. Fortunately, she had a supply of food and water with her.

Not far from the place where she got stuck there was a village, but it was abandoned long ago and thus the woman found herself literally in the middle of a huge wasteland, where no one walked or drove. Michelle tried to shoot her pistol into the air several times to get people's attention, but it had no effect.

To keep warm, Michelle regularly collected brushwood in the area and burned a fire. It took her most of her time.

The local pilot Ivo Zdarski saved the woman. He saw the news that she was missing and decided to fly around the area in his private jet. And when he flew over the old road, he saw a car stuck in the snow.

After that, he reported the find to the rescue service and soon a snow-removing truck arrived at Michelle's car. He helped pull her car out and, together with Michelle, took him into town. There, Michelle was met by her family, who were very worried about her, including her two daughters Leslie Richan and Kayleigh Vaughn.
