Kaliningrad and its environs have always been considered an anomalous zone. UFOs were observed there and other unexplained events took place. One of the local attractions is the so-called Fifth Fort, where many people were killed during the storming of Konigsberg. Today, visitors to the fort encounter unusual phenomena in the form of ghosts and chronomirages.

In January 2009, Nikolai Nikushev from Syktyvkar, who was visiting his brother in Kaliningrad, managed to photograph a strange phenomenon. Having gone with his brother to see the famous Fifth Fort, he suddenly saw on the camera monitor the silhouette of a man in an unbuttoned soldier's greatcoat.

Later, looking at the photographs, the men came to the conclusion that it was a form of the Great Patriotic War. Apparently, they had a chance to encounter the so-called chronomire - materialization in space of events that took place here in distant years.

More recently, something even stranger has happened. There was a group of tourists on the territory of the fortress. The cashier followed their movements with the help of surveillance cameras - such are the rules here. Suddenly, she noticed a glowing ball on the monitor next to the tourists. But this was no ordinary UFO.

“When I looked at this recording myself, I was amazed,” said Sergey Rymbalovich, a leading researcher at Fort # 5. - I've never seen anything like it. A large translucent sphere is a meter in diameter, it has a thin "neck", and inside - eye sockets, nose, mouth … In short, a skull! Only his appearance was not frightening, but good-natured. This is a ghost, not otherwise …"

The most interesting thing is that none of the tourists wandering around the territory of the fort paid any attention to the "skull". Obviously, he was only visible on the monitor. Subsequently, it turned out that a few days ago a similar story happened to a local guard.

Walking around the territory at night, he saw a rainbow glow rising from the ground … It was in the very courtyard where the cashier noticed the "skull". The security guard fixed the glow on the camera … Maybe this is the soul of someone who lies under the ground, buried without repentance?

In addition to the ghostly glow, other things happen here, much less harmless. So, once during a military-historical reconstruction, an accident happened with a child who fell through the roof … Another time a wedding thundered nearby, one of the participants decided to swim in a ditch while drunk, jumped there and drowned …

Recently, a small bottle of pre-war mercury was found on the territory of the fort. It is not clear how she got here … And in one of the bunkers in the area of the outer fortifications they found a man who had hanged himself. The appearance of ghosts in Kaliningrad and its environs is no longer surprising.

For example, a few years ago, on Victory Day, a group of students decided to take a photo near the grave of the philosopher Immanuel Kant. When the pictures were printed, the guys saw a mysterious stranger on them. A man dressed in an SS uniform and a helmet full of holes towered behind a group of photographs.

With his left hand he held a Schmeisser machine gun, and with his right he threw up in a Nazi salute … There was no doubt that the soldier was a ghost. However, they say that Kant himself was met more than once in his hometown in the form of a ghost …

In the vicinity of the Royal Castle, the phantom of the Nazi art critic Dr. Alfred Rod is allegedly "walking". It was he who was the keeper of the Amber Room taken out of Tsarskoye Selo.

In November 2008, cameras in the Cathedral captured a white silhouette moving behind the altar. The cathedral's watchmen complained that at night they sometimes felt someone's presence behind their backs … There were rumors about a ghost that supposedly lived here even when the city was called Konigsberg. However, whose ghost it was, no one could say. Maybe the same Kant?

In February 2009, Elena Starova from Kaliningrad left for the region to take pictures of old castles and churches there. Among other objects, she photographed the church in Zheleznodorozhny. When the woman began to look at the pictures at home, on one of them, taken near the church, she saw … a phantom horse!

The horse's muzzle, ears, and mane were clearly visible. The horse looked like a live one, only white. But there are also white horses. Only now no horses were observed near the church during the shooting!
