In the late 1800s, Jerome was a thriving shred of civilization in the sandy rolling hills of the American Southwest. Miners and their families came from all over the country in search of a better life.
Unfortunately, the promising city was soon overgrown with vices. Bars and brothels began to open on Jerome's territory, and representatives of the criminal world began to gather instead of hard-working miners. After a while, the city became a symbol of lawlessness and anarchy.
In Jerome, shootings began, brutal murders and rapes. Today, almost every street in this town has its own eerie history.
Haunted hotel
The Jerome Hotel is a mysterious and sinister place, the history of which is literally written in blood. In this place, many visitors and employees of the hotel died. It has long been abandoned. Those who still remember Jerome's story are truly concerned about the strange events and accidents that not only happened, but continue to occur on the territory of an abandoned hotel.

Unhappy worker Harvey, tragically killed in 1935. He was working in a mine when an elevator unexpectedly fell on his head. Many, however, believe that this was not an accident, but a suicide. Rumor has it that Harvey tweaked the situation to make it look like a ridiculous accident. Visitors to the ghost hotel often talk about the groans and screams of the unfortunate man coming from the mine.

Reception secretary Debra Alter claimed that the hotel often spontaneously turned on and off the lights, unusual sounds and someone's breathing were heard, and the devices kept out of order. Also, many claimed that they saw the ghost of a woman in white, who appeared in the rooms and frightened the guests. She is quite friendly, but just looking at her makes her heart beat faster.

The inn is reportedly haunted by at least two other spirits, a man and a woman. The ghost of a woman is called "The Lady in Red".
