The American, who wished to remain anonymous, claims that he was able to photograph a real ghost in the village of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. According to our hero, he and his girlfriend went at night to a local attraction, popular, among other things, among ghost hunters - the Saks Covered Bridge. This 30-meter wooden bridge with walls and roof was built in 1854. During the American Civil War, it was used by both the Union Army and the Confederate Army during the war's bloodiest battle, the Battle of Gettysburg.
In this violent clash, which erupted from 1 to 3 July 1863, more than 8,000 people died, and many of them lost their lives precisely on the Saks Covered Bridge. Therefore, it is believed that this place is cursed and inhabited by numerous spirits of dead soldiers. Something mysterious is often photographed here: balloons floating in the air, glowing smoke and the like. Our hero and his companion were fortunate enough to capture in the picture a whitish human figure standing in the darkness of the bridge at a distance from them. Having photographed the phantom, the Americans hastened to leave. Here is what the man writes:
This is a covered bridge that can be crossed by car. On the other side is a trail, country road, forest and cornfield. Me and my girlfriend were there completely alone in the middle of the night. We passed the bridge, then came back and immediately noticed this light silhouette in the darkness. There could be no living people, except us, because we carefully checked everything. Oh, and we were scared when we noticed this silhouette - a real ghost! We saw on the Internet a lot of pictures of all kinds of anomalies that people photograph here, but we did not even suspect that we ourselves would face such devilry and shoot it.
