American anthropologist Carlos Castaneda describes in his books the art of dreaming. which he was taught by his teacher - the Indian magician don Juan Matus. Talking about this art, he argued that everyone who practiced these techniques, sooner or later came across a certain "dream emissary" who manifested himself in a dream in the form of a "dream voice". Surprisingly, the Russian researcher of lucid dreaming and out-of-body travel, Sergei Korkin, encountered this very character in his dreams during his practice.
And this is what he wrote about it in his book Lucid Dreaming:
Strange, but lately, many dreamers have complained that quite often, immediately upon awakening, they lose the memory of a past lucid dream. Maybe this is the result of the influence of this very external force, which the teacher of K. Castaneda called "the emissary of the dream"? What do you think about this?
