A Mississippi man found a trail that another local believes was left by a mysterious two-meter creature living in the forest. Researchers of the paranormal have already become interested in his find.
According to British tabloid Mail Online, on August 12, Vicksburg, Mississippi resident Peyton Lassiter discovered a footprint that he said did not belong to a man or a bear.
“I was working near an abandoned playground bordering the forest when I came across this trail,” Lassiter recalls. "I measured the print, which was 9" (23 cm) long and almost 6 "(15 cm) wide, and then took an impression."
The man noted that the trail with the remnants of white and gray hair intrigued him, because it did not correspond to the imprint that could have been left by a man or a bear.
“The hair color is completely different from the fur of a bear. You can also see lines in the plaster, similar to fingerprints, which is inherent only in humans or primates, says Peyton. - Most likely, it was not a man. I don't know anything about who left it, as I haven't seen anyone in the area. It's quite intriguing."
Lassiter decided to show his find to another local resident - co-founder of the paranormal research group "Delta Paranormal Project", David Childers (David Childers), after seeing his car with the logo of the group.

As soon as a conversation began between the men, Peyton realized that there was someone in front of him who, perhaps, had seen the creature that had left an unusual trail.
“I was overwhelmed by the sight of the cast, since nine months ago I saw a strange creature in that area,” Childers explained. “I ran into him when I was trying to explore an abandoned playground where I used to hear the voices of children. I was in the middle of the thicket, when suddenly I heard a loud noise in the forest, followed by a creature more than 6 feet (about 2 meters) tall, covered with grayish fur. The noise and its sudden appearance terribly frightened me, and I silently froze in place. The huge creature also stood rooted to the spot, and then disappeared into the forest. All this happened so quickly that I did not have time to shoot anything."
The Delta Paranormal Project is currently planning an additional survey of the site where a mysterious forest dweller was spotted and a footprint was found.
